From Rich Sharpe Had the pleasure of some time with Tony Mowbray this morning. Can't help but admire his enthusiasm and strong principles. #Rovers in a good place on and off the pitch. Before anyone says: "any news Rich?" here's a message from the boss: “For our supporters to know, there’s a lot of work going on behind the scenes. We will be signing footballers, there’s an ambition for the club to build a team that’s youthful and will be competitive next year."

where would Dack play? maybe Gallagher might be a target or not. I don't know. Has he improved as a player at Birmingham?
-
The Rovers fans who have posted their info are trustworthy and no reason to lie. Not sure it guesswork tbh, cos if the terms Rovers offered Graham were acceptable he would have sign by now. I would more concern if Rovers gave him more 12 months deal as I feel that is the best we should be offering and nothing. Toney would be good signing IMO. Armstrong would be my top transfer target this summer. I don't know whether Winnall would come or the cost just someone I watched and always been impress by. It depends who available and the budget to replace Graham if we have to, Plus we already have Samuel and Nuttall. Samuel is working hard on his training and bulking up. still need another 2 strikers this summer
-
maybe Parkinson have been a wage budget and is planning to use it on 2 or 3 players and he has decide to try to sign Graham to be his main striker and play him and Le Fondre up front. This is just a possible scenario

I believe what you saying unsall. no reason to not believing you as you have proved track record

I mostly agree there, I wouldn't be more money and I more inclined to offer more incentives based contract How much training does Graham do and is he fitness/dieting going to be good enough? not sure I would give him 2 years deal at this stage All depends on the wage per week and whether you offer him incentives based contract for 12 months with if he appears in more than 30 games he get a new contract on the same terms for another 12 months Moore could be target if Graham doesn't sign here a new contract. Other striker targets IMO could be Adam Armstrong, Sam Winnall, Ivan Toney, Lansbury on 40k a week and most likely transfer fee of 5 mil plus? can we really afford it? please be realistic Surely Mowbray will be looking to replace Graham within the next season or 2 anyway with a new target man type. depends on how much Graham wages and whether we see it has value for money? surely we shouldn't be held to ransom for a player who will be 33 years old in August and I suspect this season he wont be starting every game and is he really worth a new contract back on his previous Championship wages(if that's the wage he after)?

My team would be Pickford Walker Stones Maguire Tripper Lingard Dier Ali Rose Kane Sterling Tough on Rashford but its really good to see so much competition for places.
-
Really impress by Rashford, Rose and Delph. Rose has good forward all game. Best England left back in country by miles. Rashford looks threating at every opportunity. So skilful Delph has played well by getting forward. Positional good

Would anyone offer him a 2 year deal at Rovers?
-
Thanks. Do you know how much we offer him? But we arent fooked at all. Its depends on how much Graham wants and whether it worth for us to offer him the same. How many games will he play?
-
I was wrong so my apologises @roversfan99. This is what you said on the Smallwood signing "People are alllowed to question some of Mowbrays decisions, hes not the untouchable you seem to make up. To be fair Whittingham is a good signing, and Smallwood im content with as back up for Evans, but if people question it you cant tell them to "give it a rest lad." Yes I did but he proved me wrong Yes I was wrong about Gladwin. Still feel there is a player in there but feel like he will reach the highs he should have done

Which higher calibre players would you want considering the comments of Mowbray and Waggott since the owners meeting?

I would take Lansbury and Hogan here for sure. We should Hogan before he went to Brentford. -
Most players have injuries. Even Dack do. Didnt you write off Smallwood last summer instead of judging him in Rovers shirt were he had a good season

Hogan, Lansbury, Kodija, Taylor. Why would Big Sam take over at Villa when they no money to spend, having to develop youth players and club going one way. Down.. Not perfect for Sam. From his comments in the past year sounds fed up keep doing the same job time after time. Probably why the Everton appeal to him, challenge for top 6 this season but was sacked recently -
Rothwell more of a deep midfield playmaker from what I read on social media

The situation at Villa sounds really bad. CEO suspended, looking like they need to raise between 40 to 70 million pounds in players sales to meet FFP rules. Will Bruce be staying if they are massive cutbacks? Expect him to walk away. Then what next? Any good manager wont go there. Wouldnt surprise if someone like Kevin McDonald was appointed. Think he still there as head of development. So someone who would play the youth. Seems that going to Villa way bring through the youth cos any players worth money will be sold. No loans players will be coming back next season. What the hell has gone on Villa within the last 2 seasons and since this new owner came in. -
Possible bid for Edwards from us to Posh https://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/football/posh/latest-news-peterborough-united-accept-a-million-pound-bid-for-a-league-one-player-1-8521672 From the link below The only other Posh players who would realistically command a seven-figure fee are midfielder Gwion Edwards and possibly centre-back Ryan Tafazolli. The Peterborough Telegraph did field a call from a representative of the Blackburn media regarding Edwards. Edwards, who is entering the last year of his Posh contract, was outstanding in both games against Blackburn last season and the promoted Lancastrians have money to spend as they prepare for life in the Championship. I dont know how truth it is but just found so thought I post it anyway
