  1. Not every one can afford to go and watch their team and given that clubs like Man Utd or Liverpool have a membership scheme and a priority list, so it isn't easy for new supporters to get to watch their teams of those clubs. people support teams for different reasons whether family, enjoy watching a certain player like Ronaldo or Messi, etc.
  2. I would rest Tronstad for the Hull game. I would put a very strong team out for that Leeds game not a weaker one. We can beat Leeds again
  3. No way should that lot get the full Darwen End. Isn't it the police that restrict their allocation? Also do you think the police will allow that end to split up to allow Home fans into the Darwen End?
  4. Yes I am aware of those rules and you rightly pointed this out.. In terms of reset I meant in terms of appointing a new DoF, head coach and head of recruitment. They need to that right firstly. Their recruitment in the summer didn't make much sense apart from Cannon and Gallagher.
  5. Not everyone wears their football club colours outside non football match days. People support whatever reasons. It's doesn't matter to me why that is.
  6. Didn't both clubs reject that date?
  7. Could agree more. Both head coaches should be praised for the tactical changes
  8. Ennis was signed cos Steven Schumacher wanted him. During the summer, Walters decided in the summer he would take full control of transfers and decided who they signed. Schumacher's role in transfer was very little. Gallagher is a hard-working people but not a goalscorer. Stoke since they got relegated, they have gone through head coach after head coach. Spent hundred of millions of transfer fees to nowhere.. Pelach appointment was a disaster choice. They need a massive reset there otherwise its will be league 1 football shortly
  9. Gueye for me is starting at Leeds as long with Tronstad and Hedges. I would play the same way as we did at home to them
  10. How many changes would you be making for the Leeds game?
  11. Pears Brittain Hyam Batth Beck Baker Buckley Dolan Cantwell ACD Ohashi Rovers 3 nil with Ohashi, Dolan and Cantwell with the goals
  12. Go on explain then? I work with someone who 58 years old who has support United since he was 5 years old. Was a STH in the 80's and 90's. Not been one since 2003. How is that embarrassing?
  13. People support the team they do for different reasons whether its cos their parents support this team or it's local team, etc. Sounds you are bitter one not the United fans I know. They support them for whatever reasons they do just like Liverpool fans i know, or PNE or Blackpool or West Ham fan I know.
  14. Exactly my.point but very few people are having given their head coach credits for a few tactical tweaks he did. Roberts playing wider and higher, Bellingham and Neil pressing more and move the ball quickly. Where do you start him and are you dropping Ohashi for him or Cantwell?
  15. Stoke fans at the end of the game, let's know their feelings know with the loud boos. I do wonder how much more time Narcis Pelach has there? I suspect not much more. Fans on their fans messageboards are angry at him but also their ownership by Coates family and their Sporting Director Walters. It's feels like such disorganised mess there. If it was my club and I was the owner there, after seeing the results, performances on the pitch and league position. I would make 2 changes, sack the sporting director and the head coach, then I would bring in someone like Ryan Lowe or Tony Mowbray to be next head coach whilst I look for director of football operations to take over that role.
  16. Right. What that got to do with owt. Parents might live over here but original from the Manchester area or it's the team they starting following 20 years or even longer.
  17. I'm sure he won't be blaming Hedges for both goals like some were yesterday on here. Maybe you missed those comments
  18. Why? How do you know that?
  19. Good for you Matty. I just enjoyed talking about football and discussing different opinions on things. It's enjoyable listening to the pain in their voice when talking about the problems at the club
  20. It's interesting how many walk ons we had this season and the reasons why that is. Over 8k walk ons for boxing day fixture is a great effort.
  21. Firstly Matty, I dont think Eustace will be fuming, Secondly, Hedges is in the final third looking to close the ball down, Thirdly, why can you not credit Sunderland and their head coach making a positive tactical change and them moving the ball quickly from defend to attack. This is quality Sunderland team and there is a reason why they are 4th in the league I thought it was Batth with the knock down live and watching it back
  22. I thought Baker did very well in there but of course we missed Travis as I think anyone would do given he is captain, in great form and his partnership with Tronstad. Second half he faded abit but Sunderland midfield 2 Neil and Bellingham shown their worth Agreed 💯% And we saw the benefit of playing both against Luton tho. But he can play wide in your opinion even tho you say he doesn't do enough defensively? I think his work rate and closing down is very good.
  23. I'm sure Eustace won't give Hedges both barrels at all. I've watched the highlights back and both times Hedges is in the final third and Sunderland move the ball very quickly forward to Roberts who played wider and higher all second half. So how the hell is it Hedges at fault and why can't you actually credit Sunderland head coach for changing Roberts starting position and them moving it forward quickly
  24. Good for you Matty
