  1. It's was one game against a team likely to be top 2 at the end of the season. People seem to lost that prospective in this. How about answing my question what do you expect from both in terms of goals and assist? You know what both provided the team. I want to keep both and you dont. I like Dolan work rate, pressing ability, etc. He needs to improve his final pass quality but he is 22/23 years old. People forget that. Hedges is steady player, experience and quality in the final third.
  2. I did say we are sticky patch atm but overall in the league we are 7th.
  3. You don't agree with given either a new contract. Which is fine and we know your views on both players. Dolan has lost his pace and explosiveness cos of injuries and he has baulk up. What figures are you expecting from both in terms of goals and assists? Yet we are still 7th despite being in sticky patch. You only focus on what you want instead of looking at the bigger position.
  4. Like I said previously we are going a sticky patch atm but overall in the league we are 7th. One win and we go on good run. Who knows. Point against a West Brom team is a shit results On the Boring point. I'm not bothered about that but I didn't find the previous 3 games before Sheffield United game boring. It's about picking points and Eustace won't go over attacking too early in games. He takes pragmatic approach which is right way with this squad. Yes I would give Dolan a new 3 contract. Hedges probably a 1 year contract. Both still have qualities but both have dipped in form
  5. If they were crap would they been playing professional football? Ok. I think we know what your opinion is on both of them ACD is out and likely to be for a few weeks. Sod law. I'm not bothered about being exciting and entertaining at the minute. I would take a 1 nil win on Wednesday in a dull game. We are in sticky patch at the minute but one win and it could be very different
  6. of course I predicted a win cos I ain't going to not back my team pre game. Yes I am fully aware we didn't have a shot on target yesterday I have explained my reasons for not being disappointed yesterday cos its was going to tough game against them. I expected us to be better in the final third but we overplayed or didn't play the right final pass I don't ever called any Rovers player crap and sadly its pathetic seeing you do it. I don't with your assessment that Dolan or Hedges are crap and the entire squad has to make up for the Szmodics loss Don't know. All depends how many chances we create and how much he plays. we see at the end of the season. He needs a goal quickly cos his confidence is dropping each week and at the minute we are 7th and we had sticky patch but yes I enjoyed the WBA game performance and I thought we played well at Watford who created nothing and got a lucky pen to win it. With your comments above you think we were bottom of the league and going down. Ohashi did well yesterday in holding the ball up and his link up play. In the second half he should have shot instead of looking to pass to Cantwell. Very decent performance from him
  7. Pears Brittain Batth Hyam Beck Travis Tronstad JRC Ohashi Cantwell Gueye Subs: Toth Duru McFadzean Pickering Buckley Weimann Leonard Hedges Dolan Baker can't play cos he is on loan from Stoke
  8. for me, a new striker, pacey winger and centre back are the 3 priorities for me. I would move Sigurdsson on aswell
  9. Can I please asked what was Eustace during the Q and A? what else did he say?
  10. the first 10 minutes we started on the front foot and took the game to them then some poor defending from us so they scored. We over played in the final third or played that extra pass or misplace a pass. No I not disappointed cos it was always going to be tough and difficult game against a very good squad at this level and good manager in Wilder at this level No. I don't change my opinion from last week and we created good chances at Watford and didn't take them. Yesterday we misplaced a pass or didn't shoot and look for an extra pass. That's your opinion RF99. I don't shared it one bit. don't agree Abbey. The work rate was there, no way were we a bunch of cowards in yesterday game. Sheffield united have better quality players on the pitch and its shows. They have top 2 promotion squad and we have a mid table squad. That's the facts of it
  11. Not the result we all wanted today. Thought Sheff united looked a top 2 team today. Rovers started the game really well and I was encouraged by it then Burrows scored after poor defending. After their goal, we still getting into their final third but then let down by final pass or decision being the wrong one. After they scored again, it was game over. I think Ohashi did well today. hold the ball up well, good touches but second half he should have shot not look for another pass. Just shoot FFS! Beck was my man of the match. I thought Eustace should have 4-4-2 second half play Gueye or Leonard with Ohashi just before they scored their second. Onto the Stoke game and lets win the game on Wednesday. Not disappointed a
  12. No you can't loan players outside the transfer window. Not been able too for years now.
  13. I stated my view and think how Eustace plays his number 10 and wide players it's the right approach for Cantwell to drift into those spaces and not started there Good for you.
  14. Really? You don't understand what Eustace expected from the number 10 and this is to press the ball with the striker but also drop deeper and help out in midfield like Dolan does game after game
  15. The management team at United bottled their decision to sack Ten Hag cos he won the FA cup. They were talking to different managers during the summer and bottled it. It was reported during the last international break were meeting unemployed head coaches like Xavi. No surprised they sacked him now and appointed Van Nistelrooy as interim head coach
  16. No you missing the point I'm making. He is allow to roam and drift from the left into different positions where he can created. If plays central he would be easier to mark him for the opposition where if he plays from the left he isnt. Let's just leave it there cos we won't agree. I'm not going forward and back with yourself time after time
  17. I dont agree. You don't want him to be in there as starting position but drift and roam into there from the left plus he can stay wide causing the opposition more problems. Cantwell's best form in his career came playing at Norwich from the left side of the Attack. What do you not get!!! 2 completely different players. Completely different teams and style of play.
  18. ACD has been injured for the past 10 days and I suggested Eustace would ease him back into the squad so maybe bench place for Stoke game if he is even fit I would keep Cantwell on the left, doing what he has been doing roaming over the pitch and drifting into spaces like he has doing for the past 3 games.
