A cheaper ST might have been well received by some supporters who can't afford the current ST's prices. If you were looking at Non-Englishman options then Tuchel is about 3rd or 4th on the list after Pep Guardiola, Carlo Ancelotti, Brendan Rodgers and then Thomas Tuchel. I am also interested into seeing what Tuchel's coaching staff is. Tuchel's number 2 Anthony Barry is highly regarded in the football world and it will interesting to see what influence he has.

I wouldn't have appointed Tuchel. Far too volatile he has track record for falling out with players and club owners/board. I dont see this being long term appointment and just be clear again I wouldn't appointed him. I stand by my comments that it should be Englishman.
