No I posted what I read about the English FA worried that appointing a foreign manager would say about their coaching system and given their investment into English coaching and St. George's park set up.. Lampard did his coaching badges at St.Georges park. I think Spain picked De La Fuente cos they wantes someone who knew the players coming through and knew they have quality players coming through. They want Southgate to carry on. I still think Carsley is the one they want to appoint ideally but I'm unconvinced he really wants it. -

Until we appoint one of those we will never know. Did we know the Spain manager before Euro 24 but the Spanish FA did and appointed him and back him. What other major footballing nation go down the foriegn route? Did Spain or Brazil or France or Netherlands or Germany or Argentina? Southgate did an amazing job over the 8 years and achieved so much. What did Capello achieved here? Also going foreign again, what does that say our own English coaches when you don't give them a chance to prove themselves and what's the point in the FA building and investing in St. Georges Park when you go Foriegn again. I would give it Potter or Lampard and let them built a team for the world cup in USA and Euros which are held here in UK and Ireland. -

You have answered your own question really. Potter or Lampard it is then. I still wouldn't be surprise if the FA try to convince Carsley to take the job as it would shown that we are producing and developing our own coaches through the St. Georges set up. -
Great test win on a flat pitch. Root and Brook batting, the tempo of their innings and how to play in those conditions were great

A team build around Dolan? Eh?. Who says Cantwell has to stuck out wide? You know players can move inside and move around with Dolan moving out left or ACD can. Players don't need to stick pigeon hole to one area of the pitch and stay there. Also what you seemingly to forget that Cantwell's best form came from the left hand side of the attack under Daniel Farke at Norwich We have a range of options who can play there. Agreed 💯 % -

I wouldn't want Tuchel in charge. Think he is too volatile for the England job. It's should be English manager appoint for me. Also Carsley look like doesn't want the permanent England manager job from his comments post match. Don't see Howe leaving Newcastle job right now -
23 years ago we appointed Sir Kenny as our manager https://www.facebook.com/share/p/RrDzwA7iy5mcDf4d/

Questions for everyone Matty. Answer all depends what the figures are since Covid. If it's consistent each season then maybe not but questions for Rovers what can they do to attract those adults to buy a ST and why wont they. What's the reasons for that? Is it work commitments or family commitments or struggling financially, etc

Different people have different opinions. That's life. You are clearly unhappy by the last 2 games and that's where your focus is instead some others like myself focus on the 9 games we played so far very happy with the start. I expect us to be inconsistent this season where we will have ups and downs. You said we had a good start overall so would you be happy with another 15 points in the next 9 games? -
No no no Abbey lad Cos the weather were plus 30 degree all day. I think we did well on a flat pitch which offered very little..

All our attacking players were off form for the Preston game and Preston did exactly what we did to Burnley. Sat deeper, solid defending and counter attack us. -
I have no idea to be honest As this says both side claimed victory. What a bloody mess it is.

Nope. I have look at the overall season and then look at the last 2 games which we lost. Evaluating the entire season as my opinion. So would you take another 15 points from our next 9 games? You just don't get it. Every game at this level is hard. No easy in life. Happy with the first 3 games not the last 2 away but that wont change my opinion we had a good start to the season. I can understanding that gameplan and stay in the game until Cantwell and others can influence the game from the bench. It's why I wouldn't have start Cantwell at Coventry but at Plymouth. Cantwell isn't ready back to back games -
Doesn't really matter to be honest. Samba number was 4 here during his time. Tugay wear squad number of 3 and 5. The best midfielder I have ever seen in Xavi wear 6 as shirt number. in the all grand scheme its doesn't matter about what number they wear on their shirt.
