  1. Rovers can confirm that its annual Remembrance Day commemorations will take place on Saturday November 8th, coinciding with the club’s 150-year anniversary celebrations. Ahead of the game against Derby County, the club will honour and remember fallen servicemen and women who tragically lost their lives in conflicts past and present, while also showing appreciation to those currently serving in the UK’s Armed Forces. Although final arrangements for the pre-match tribute are still being confirmed, Rovers can announce that wreaths will be laid in the centre circle, where the two teams, match officials and standard-bearers will gather. The ‘Ode of Remembrance’ poem will be read by Reverend Ken Howles, ahead of a period of silence, which will end with the playing of The Last Post. In keeping with annual tradition, the Rovers players will also wear poppy shirts for the game and we are honoured to be joined at Ewood Park by the Accrington Pipe Band, local cadets and Armed Forces veterans. Poppy stalls and bucket collections will also be present around the ground, helping to raise vital funds for the Royal British Legion. Rovers’ annual Remembrance fixture is a deeply significant date in the club’s football calendar. While some elements of this year’s tribute will be slightly adjusted due to the anniversary celebrations, and essential health and safety considerations, the club remains unwavering in its commitment to honouring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy today. Neil Shorrock, Royal British Legion Blackburn Chair and Blackburn Poppy Appeal Organiser, said: “We are immensely grateful for the continued support that Blackburn Rovers provide to the Royal British Legion and the Armed Forces community. “Your commitment helps honour and support those who serve and have served.”
  2. Surely that would depend on the reasons first?
  3. Its a fair point but Anderson impress Tuchel in the under 21 tournament. Guehi is a top centre back. Would like to ask Tuchel why he isn't picking Wharton in the squad?
  4. Would that really suit Kane who need pace and runners around him? Who are your wing backs?
  5. I have read what you say but you go on your little soap box. Yes I picked Bellingham as the 10 but after watching the games and listening to other people opinions about how well we played and look like a team and had runners off Kane, I can understand why people want Rogers in the 10 cos how can play off Kane. Do you not see that? Do you not see that the team must cone first? I reckon Rogers place is already confirm he will go world cup injuries.
  6. Does it matter about his role at Forest given that he is playing with a different set of players but he was key player in their success last season which you can't deny RF99! The under 21's tournament was live on channel 4. So I watched every England game thanks Rf99 He has more than shown he is good enough for that role in those games but as ever you are over critical and doubting his undoubtedly quality and talent. Howe was huge fan and didnt want to sell him when they did. The Gerrard and Lampard situation is more than relevant to this point or last tournament when we played Foden on the left in the last tournament. We didnt look balance. Also the team looks more balanced cos you have runners around Kane with 4 players looking to get forward and in behind. Its suits us. Rogers poor form shouldn't matters cos he isn't in poor form for England. I will repeat if Bellingham or Palmer have to left to get the team working together and Kane then so be it
  7. Well so far so good for him. He played a similar role for England during the under 21's tournament this season. Limited experience? You mean recent opponents? You can only play who we played but for me, its how he plays the 6 role and the partnership with Rice which both seem to suit each other games. But does it suit the team better tho? That's what matters surely? Team first? We tried to fit Gerrard and Lampard into the same system and it never worked out
  8. Who was in charge of the Rovers under 21's?
  9. Its what suits the team more than just individuals. We seen this all before we tried fitting Gerrard, Lampard, Hargreaves and Carrick into a starting 11 instead of dropping one or 2 or changing formation
  10. Think his performances have shown he is level above good and given how he has performances were last season, England under 21's games this summer and his performances for England
  11. Think Anderson and Rice partnership works. Anderson is a clever football. Very good player and only going to get better
  12. 6 is defensive midfielder not a centre back. Source: Coaches' Voice https://share.google/idnRsiFDoMUERo130
  13. Tuchel didn’t hold back in his praise for Anderson. “He’s just a very, very good football player,” Tuchel said. “He has the physicality, he’s very mobile at No 6. He has the body, he loves to defend, he loves to put his body inside to duels. He loves passing, he loves to break the lines, he’s very mobile in this game. It was a pleasure to see .l
  14. Who was in charge of Rovers today?
  15. Anderson has the 6 is working next to Rice is working and looks good overall partnership Tuchel is playing a balanced team with players playing in their correct position. No shoehorning of players to get them in. Looks a good overall team. Eze must go to.the world cup. Gives you different type of player in a couple of roles
  16. none of know but their comments are a matter of public record
  17. Cos McKenna told them to do so? Also what did tell his players to do when losing and down to 10 players?
  18. It wasnt problem until the last 12 months was it?
  19. As someone said previously it would Environment agency problem and its would take years to find a solution and money to pay for it
  20. He did that old pitch isn't to blame for the Ipswich game being called off but the pitch couldn't deal with the amount of rain we got.. The river level wasn't a factor and he was loud in saying. Also said we cant touch or changing in regard to the river. Its not something Rovers can do anything about
  21. Mowbray and Waggott both said publicly that Mowbray didnt get Waggott the CEO job
  22. Undav said publicly he turned down to stay and fight for Place at Brighton. We already a deal in place with Brighton. JDT and GB couldn't convince him to join us. Gregg Broughton's comments on the public record " I think it's on the public record we had an agreement in place with Brighton for Deniz Undav, and at that stage just before it was done, the player decided to stay in-house. 23. He needs to be club management but willing to be more adaptable in tactical
  24. Not everything is about Rovers. He is young English coach and he has took his first move in management so I hope he does well there and develop into a good one
