  1. I dont agree. He did his job. I'm not arsed about being pleasing on the eye, I bothered about effective football and picking up points. I dont want to be anywhere the relegation battle and under Eustace I think we will be top half at least I said previously, I hold up my hands up and admitted I was wrong to staunchly defending JDT. Also factor he was falling out with players like Brittain and Wharton. You seem to have a real problem with Eustace's approach. Is exciting and risk seeking football going to produce better record and points totally? Eustace is a head coach who approach his tactics and style depending who we are playing. He wasnt willing to go all.out attack against WBA and good tactical coach in Carlos Corberan. Would yourself differently in terms of tactics and style? It's by design, The 3 behind the striker all roam and interchange. Cantwell is allow to roam and by coming from the left isnt going to pick up.
  2. So Buckley or Baker as wide player instead of a wide player like Sigurdsson? WBA went for it? Really? Like for like come on for them. Dobbin and Johnston came on in 83 mins. Wallace came on 92 mins. Hardly going for it was it? Both teams very well organised and tough to break down
  3. Just seeking clarification given your borefest comments and the fact that both teams are very well organised and understand their roles by their head coach. It was always going to be tight close game He provides more than adequate cover for Beck. Also he roams into those areas from the left creating more problems for opposition instead of being out numbered in there by 2 defensive midfielder JDT didn't want to adapt and change tactics. His plan was Plan A. When we went through a difficult spell he had no answer to him. Eustace has different plans for different games and his man management is very different So what subs would you have differently and when?
  4. So you happy to pick points whilst not playing entertaining football you would prefer to watch? You did called yesterday game a borefest?
  5. Surely it's points over entertaining football every time? Borefest? Would you want us to be more open and defensive weaker?
  6. Carter looks bad. Surprise if we see him before Christmas tbf For Hyam and Travis were our best players. Tronstad as ever steady and reliable. Eustace is doing a very good job. Been checked last 2 home games. Straight through in about 5 seconds tops. Same as always
  7. Of course it's worth keep opening cos demand is from fans and ST sales. Different argument to keep a club shop The town centre shop was good but when costs go up like renting the premises and sales don't go to make viable to keep it going. That was stupid and clueless decision. Called it out at time and didn't support it. Now you being daft. I'm one that affected by closing the club shop on Monday but I can understand the decision from the club cos of the lack of footfall and people buying online cos people don't have time. You can buy simple online in 5 mins nowadays. Much easier and simple. Shirt sales and replica Rovers kits have improved again and fans keep buying. Stadium foods in the concourse is poor and has been for years. I think 4k walk on fans is terrific. Plus comes down ST prices and people want to pay or not. Whether they afford it or make it enough to games to win for them.
  8. Good performance. Well organised against a strong team in the Championship. 2 very well organised teams. A draw is a fair result and I'm happy with clean sheet and 4 in a row. Eustace is doing a very good team and building a good squad with team ethos in our club badge. Arte Et Labore.
  9. 4th in the goalscoring charts
  10. In your opinion of course. I rather Brittain at right back with JRC further forward and getting into goal scoring areas.
  11. It's closed on Monday. Is it worth opening if the business isn't there should it open just for a few customer(yes I would of those who would go in on Monday to buy or look around, but I understand their decision as business decision)?
  12. I do posted my opinions but I very different opinions on games, Eustace, players and performances
  13. 2 nil Rovers. Expect a similar type of performance to the Swansea game. We played on the counter in this just highlighting how adapted we been in different scenarios and situations. Eustace, coaching staff and players deserved huge credit for our start, adaptability of tactics and 5 home wins
  14. I have said my opinions based on how we played under Eustace. I would play Dolan or Ohashi in the 10/second striker role. Just like I would play Bellingham in the 10 role instead of Palmer or Foden.
  15. Eustace decides what's best the team not the players. His best form came at Norwich under Farke from the left side of the attack. Simple as. Playing him from the left allows more space, allow to roaming into different positions and he can go either way when taking a full back on Stuck in past and old mental attitude Dolan. Give how Eustace wants his number 10 to play. Don't agree. Football now is a squad game plus head coach decides on selection based on tactics and formation for that game, opposition and how they play.
  16. great to hear that and your son had such a great time and its a memory he won't forget ever
  17. ACD has been ruled out of this game. Eustace provides latest on Blackburn Rovers fitness doubt | Lancashire Telegraph
  18. So if his talent is wasted out left why did his best form in his career came from the left wing at Norwich and where Norwich turned down £30m for him from Villa. Playing from the left allow his to go either way or roam from the left like he did on Saturday, he also tracked back and help Beck out defensively time after time. Best starting eleven is past it time and football is now a squad game and where head coaches pick their team on tactics, opposition strengths and weaknesses
  19. We are 4th top scorers in this league after 10 games. 16 goals scored his main strength is hold the ball up and being a focus point. A striker can all the good movement you want but if the ball never reach them its pointless.
  20. In his comments with LT about ACD and McFadzean injuries
  21. From Eustace comments, i guess he could be on the bench at best. Don't see him starting after picking up an injury on Friday
  22. You are obsess with this pace thing with Yuki Ohashi for some reason but if you had look at him before we signed him, pace isn't part of his game but movement, scoring goals, and work rate. we have had 9 different goalscorers this season already and we have shared the goals out amongst the team not just really on one player and we are now. Any many chances has Gueye had this season? maybe 5 chances all season. We will never to your answer to your question At times we do cross the ball or play a ball down the side of the defence for Gueye to run onto like Derby in the first half. Gueye is work in progress as his this team and where we want to get to under Eustace. Gueye needs run of games and chances created for him. The Swansea was always going to be tight game cos how Swansea are possession based and don't have many creative players and solid defensively
