  1. Disappointed I can't watch it
  2. I take you know people who would be interested in buying if it was for sale. We struggled to be sold when the Walker Trust put up for sale. If only they had waiting for new TV rights to happen they wouldn't need to sale. What are Walker's family up to these days? Do they regret selling the club? My figure was around 60-65 million. £25m to buy the club, £20m to buy Brockhall and £20m running cost, covering the debt until you vastly improve the commercial operations and bring in more sponsorship but also a CEO and commercial team to improve the operations here.
  3. Let's see in 10 days time. Undav changed his mind. Can't fault us for that. O'Brien we discussed to death no need to do so again Think they got enough to do before the deadline without meeting me Explained last night how we could spend in this window. Did you miss that?
  4. As I keep saying the price is fine for myself. Its easy affordable. But other people are struggling financially so making ST cheaper and more affordable for people like this. Also get more fans in the stadium is also my point.
  5. If we had signed Undav and O'Brien in that window we would got playoffs for sure. We need signings. 4 or 5 minimum. Simple as. I've explained how you could do that.
  6. At least 4 or 5 players needed. 2 centre backs, right winger and striker. Plus another if we sell or loan players like Gallagher and Markanday How you say not a chance?
  7. https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/36673-venky’s-hmrc…the-plot-thickens/?do=findComment&comment=2511904 https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/36584-championship-2324/?do=findComment&comment=2519217 just prove it Mercer
  8. Been saying all that's for months Mercer. Glad to see you are agreeing with my analysis
  9. Rovers need to lower prices for next season. I would recommend ST prices for Riverside of £200, BBE and LJW for £250, JWU for £300. ST's for under 12 a pound for the season. Match day prices weekend games £15 for Riverside, BBE, JWL and JWU of £20. Midweek game £10 for Riverside, BBE, JWL and JWU of £15. It should be about operation fill Ewood Park and get it afford for everyone and fans on seats. Hopefully the Fans Forum and We are Rovers groups can put their ideas over to get ST and match day prices lower and affordable for everyone Understandable about the work pattern. I have to go to work straight after the game and do a full shift. Do you get no enjoyment in any game?
  10. The offers weren't good enough. Simple as. Plus what you always to factor in is the DoF and head coach only came in that summer and to sell him would be big call and huge gap in the squad
  11. Sevilla and Nice offered £8.4 million whilst Fulham offered £6m plus £4m in add ons
  12. Would have been a brilliant signing and at least got us top 6 finish and playoff place He has 8 goals this season in the championship. He knows how to score goals Yes I am mad Rovers and Rovers till I die. Its my opinion and I stand by it. Adam Wharton scored yesterday
  13. Can't predict the future Rev. If I could I would have won the Lotto or EuroMillions by now
  14. Its a couple of millions we would lose. Not alot when we are likely to cash in on Adam Wharton, Hayden Carter and possibly Sammie Szmodics in the summer for £25m plus
  15. deffo. We should be able some quality players from here with some championship experience but also from Overseas leagues
  16. Should have made a new contract post covid comeback cos he looked quality but even so an offer should have been made at that point. If BBD wanted to leave when Fulham, Sevilla or Nice make the offers when didn't BBD asked to leave?
  17. Nicko has suggested it on X(twitter) I don't know that JDT will leave Rovers in the summer but he still has 18 months on his contracts and I hope he stays here. Even if he does leave I would expect Rovers will look to appoint a head coach who will play a similar style of play to JDT. We need signings in this window and mostly these should not short term signings but players who will add quality and depth to the squad for next season and season after
  18. Its about bringing players just not for this season but beyond. If we £5m from that Raya deal. That's gives you £5m to spend which would give you the chance to bring few signings For example Rajovic for £3m from Watford O'Riordan for 500k from Crewe Blackett-Taylor for 500k from Charlton Cresswell on loan to buy in the summer from Leeds Julian Niehues on a pre contract for next season
  19. You are spot on that the BBD contract should have been sort before GB came in. Mowbray and Waggott should have sorted it 2 years before his contracts ended true but we should be selling players before we leave it when the players have only 12 months left on their contract
  20. I believe we could advance the Raya Transfer money to this window and not the summer. We would get slightly less But I would be tempted to do if we could bring in new signings to give us some depth and quality
  21. I would deffo take Campbell from Stoke,
  22. Surely that is on JDT for given Ben Benson the job when he could do it himself or appoint someone like Damien Johnson or Mike Sheron to do it Will Still is the Reims manager. Will Still has made the jump from Football Manager to Preston to Ligue 1 | Ligue 1 | The Guardian Will Still: The 30-year-old English boss proving a hit at Ligue 1 Reims - BBC Sport
  23. JDT did bring his own assistant and fitness coach. Remy and Rosen who he knows and worked with before, but he was happy to work his existing staff as its give his opinions on the players Mowbray did bring in his own number 2 and he was very happy with Benson's work that why he got a new contract when we went down. Benson was given the GK coach temporaray when Mowbray came in as we got rid of Owen Coyle, Assistant manager Sandy Stewart, first team coach John Henry and goalkeeping coach Phil Hughes I am sure if JDT wanted to bring in more of his own staff then he would.
  24. I agree we need a new CEO with background in commercial operation growth here but that's down to the owners to bring that in. We have to disagree cos I think we have a good footballing structure and GB is doing a good overall job but we need a budget to bring in what we need. Yes I do think we will bring 3 or 4 signings before the deadline day. Yes I do always look at life in 'positive mindset' and I always look at the glass half full not half empty. Its mindset that has served me well to get the best I want and have in life.
