  1. None of us know what is going on. I think the possible situation that he, his partner and young child don't want to move house, or club for family reasons could be correct. Might not be tho. I don't know where is his move to Villarreal is currently. Maybe its not happening now, I don't know I agree mostly but I think we got fair prices for Gestede, Rhodes and Armstrong but not for Cairney for example I agree that this should be discussed in the Season ticket thread or Waggott thread
  2. Well that's your opinion, Everything else is speculation. No-one on here know what Ben, his missus or family/agent are thinking.
  3. firstly Jim Ratcliffe is a Manchester United fan and is from the North West. He wouldn't lose billions tho cos the Global united brand, The current and future tv Premier league rights plus better sponsorship.
  4. No offence but I getting abit fed up with you trying every time to do bets, like I have always said I ain't interested in betting with you or anyone on here. Please keep this mind for future reference
  5. Of course it matters who is instigating cos they need more money than ever just to complete with English teams for transfers. English teams have a great global TV deal already and wealthy owners which these 2 Spanish clubs don't have. Mashed Potatoes has explained why German teams won't join and when the UK government introduce the new football laws UK teams won't be able to join without the fans voting for it and then take into account the current agreements between PL owners and PL about not joining the Euro Super League. Great points But that's the World Cup and Fifa. Nothing to do with Euro Super League but if you look at how this came out it with condemnation very quickly by Football authorities around Europe, Football fans including fans from those teams, media and pundits plus Governments from Europe. Glazers and FSG are looking to sell cos they know that this Euro Super League is dead in the water and they will never get a better financial position for either club to be sold.
  6. Rich Sharpe has said this "Rovers have already faced eight teams this season with either an interim manager, or one taking charge of their first game. Look set to add to that next weekend." Was close to it last week, probably waited until they have a replacement set to replace him always favourite for that job but nothing ever happens with him
  7. @briansolmakes a very good case for why it might be offered by us?
  8. Cos it been reported we are. Did you miss that bit? Plenty has been reported by 3 different journalists. What more do you want? A minute to minute account with details of everything. Of course I will keep believing in my club I support and stakeholder.
  9. The Euro Super League won't happen cos clubs have committed and signed a document to stay with the PL and given the backlash last time no new owner would try it again. Also the Euro Super League is needs for clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona as they don't have private wealthy owner or the TV deals that we get over here. Other European teams didn't want it last time like Bayern, Dortmund or PSG. Fans don't want it either as the backlash was clear to see it last time
  10. You make a very logical and fair point here. Could be the case Its a fair point you could that we could offer that 30k to two or 3 players who would improve the overall quality of the squad
  11. I wouldn't be surprised if Gallagher started up front with Dolan left but I would left him on bench. Plenty of options its all how you want to play them now Yes the TV coverage clearly show this no surprise to see you post that. Opportunities for others to step up now. Rovers did yesterday and Ayala scored with great diving header.
  12. Another conspiracy theory Mercer. We wouldn't be pursing this if we thought we didn't have a case. It baffling how quickly you are to write off the club you support and are stakeholder in. EFL have been challenge finally and maybe it will change how they run the game finally and actually set up an independent body to oversee transfers and late transfers. Btw the lawyers we hired are to fight this case are Centrefields based in Manchester Centrefield LLP | Sport Law | Media Law | Legal Advice
  13. I would go with this team if BBD and Dack are injured which I think is likely given how both looked when they went off. Pears Carter Ayala Hyam Pickering Travis Buckley Thomas Szmodics Hedges Dolan Subs:- Hilton Phillips Brittain Garrett Vale Gallagher Leonard
  14. here the full story Blackburn offer Ben Brereton-Diaz huge £30k-a-week one year contract but Villarreal eye free transfer at end of season | The Sun
  15. Lets hope he can make full recover and I send my best wishes to him and his family
  16. I have stated that its suits this squad to play 4-2-3-1 formation and that's why I would play it. As I have said several times in my posts which each time you overlooked So after arguing to change formation you wouldn't do it. Thanks for answering question I have stated my opinion on Dack and the reasons why. As @Dreams of 1995said its getting boring now. Its like some people can't accept people opinions at the time and understand that what they were basing it now. Opinions changed based on performances in games. Simple as. Just like plenty of people slagged and wrote off Pears after the Wigan FA cup and now he had 6 games in row and only conceded 2 goals in he is changing people opinion
  17. Delighted we won that game today. First half display by us wasn't good enough. Sat too deep, no pressing the ball high(when we did we won the ball back)enough, poor touches and couldn't get forward with quality apart from Dolan shot. Swansea created one great opportunity to score but hit the bar and Pears got the rebound header. Apart from that they created very well for their possession Second half, we shown a very different performance, pressing high and closing down quickly and more tempo and movement with the passing. Diaz and Dack both went off injured plus Gallagher gone off I didn't think we would score but delighted when Ayala came in with the diving header and put in the back of the net. I am delighted with the 3 points and the clean sheet. I thought we better second attacking wise but lack that quality finisher, but we got the win and the 3 points. 7th and level points with Sunderland and Millwall who are 5th and 6th. Well done Rovers and JDT's Blue and White Army 🔵⚪!
  18. There is no super fan nonsense at all but people stating a different opinion which you don't agree with. The EFL will blink IMO and realise they aren't fit for purpose. EFL should have had this situation sorted 2 weeks ago but yet again its not. No surprise with EFL or any Football authorities to be fair I have no idea who we hired as lawyers but I think @JHRovermentioned it earlier in the threat
  19. Like I keep saying I based my opinion on what I was watching in games and that was my opinion. Dack has proved me wrong
  20. I commented on what I witness in his performances. not too quick but commenting on what we watched
  21. I ain't surprised by your answer at all Our chances this season aren't over this season so don't get this notice we failed
