  1. simple answer no. But I don't believe the club were wrong in O'Brien transfer was done at 10.50pm only for EFL to asked for extra paperwork. Do you think Rovers were to blame?
  2. That's wasn't the case last night but in games they have to do their role defensively which is still part of their job as wide players. I don't get why we need to change things up a bit. The formation suits the squad and the players we have currently. I would stick with it and I always prefer this formation as plan A then maybe plan B being 3-5-2 or 4-3-3
  3. not for me, You are leaving our best player JRC in this team and his performances in the last 6 to 8 weeks means he deserved to play. Pickering isn't a wing back for me and Thomas needs to be in final 3rd not playing more deeper and having more defensively responsibilities than playing right winger in 4-2-3-1
  4. Never said it was down to the EFL thinking about Streaming matches from 2024/25 season but the point being putting proper procedures and structures to ensure quick and decisive decisions can be make. Sadly the EFL isn't good enough in making quick decisions.
  5. my team for this game Pears JRC Carter Hyam Pickering Travis Buckley Thomas Dack BBD Dolan Subs:- Hilton, Phillips, Brittain, Garrett, Hedges, Szmodics, Gallagher
  6. I like Dolan playing the role he does as number 9. Pressing the ball high is one of the aspect of his game that suits us and he can and does win the ball back high for us. Against some teams that suits the team. We have the squad we have. We have to just get on with it and deal it for the rest of the season. moaning or complaining about will do zilch to solved it. That will happen in the summer. Football isn't about entertainment but winning games. I enjoyed certain aspects of our performances last night like Pears, JRC and Carter performances or BBD having more influence and impact the game, but annoyed at Morton's performance for example. Those 2 changes didn't improve us at all not for me cos BBD best form and his impact comes from playing from the left. Where he can cut in from the left and shoot exactly.
  7. This is where we lack a proper number 9 striker but we have deal with the current situation we are in. I think keeping him fit and injury free is a massive factor and his game time still need managing properly
  8. EFL aren't good enough to run this league. these sorts of decisions should have been sorted with a couple of days by independent person or board of 3. Its needs re-organising and EFL seems more than about streaming football than actually coming up with his TV network for showing live games similar to what is now but then shown on Sky, Amazon, BT, Virgin media for monthly subscriptions for people who want it.
  9. Not for me, 4-2-3-1 formation suits the squad currently. Since Christmas, JDT has stuck with one formation and its suits this squad.
  10. He was close to joining FC Zurich before Gregg Broughton made him his number 1 choice to become our head coach https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/36240-v-swansea-city-a-6822/?do=findComment&comment=2356429
  11. on point 1, he makes a fair point on it JDT makes on it. on point 2, I guess he is just managing expectations and trying to not over promise here from moment 1. If we get a playoff place he has massive underachieved with the squad we have compare to other teams who should be up there I think Playing Dolan as the pressing/number 9 striker is probably the best way until the summer. grim to watch? We were playing away from home against a team who have quality attacking players but kept them mostly quiet whilst scoring there. Only team to do in the last 7 games there. Yes we played compact when defending but we played Thomas and BBD very wide when attacking. We don't have the players to play open attacking football Correct. Where were Dack, BBD and Dolan tho? Spot on post. Taking Dack off yesterday was the right decision as you need to consider the bigger picture and we played on Saturday, Tuesday and Saturday. Plus factoring in he is still on his comeback from 2 serious injuries.
  12. Pears for me following by Carter
  13. Not seen a link with Leeds myself but they are in a huge mess by being turned down by 6 different head coaches and today being linked with Pedro Martins.
  14. Big jobs for Warnock and McCarthy to keep Huddersfield and Blackpool up.
  15. Lets hope we could have this sorted by the weekend. The EFL have yet again took their time. They probably thought we wouldn't go all this trouble but we are doing so.
  16. very good piece on Leeds united search for their next appointment Leeds United’s chaotic search for Jesse Marsch's successor shows a muddled club under pressure (msn.com)
  17. Here my summary now that I've calmed down now. I thought it was a much better attacking performance and Diaz had 4 shots in the game and looked like the old Diaz. We had 10 shots during the game and 4 being on target which 3 were from Diaz. Pears was excellent tonight and he made a few very good saves tonight. Carter stood out again at Centre back. Pickering and JRC good again. Morton performance was awful and needs dropping from the next game. Thomas and Dack not much impact tonight. We need to go and beat Swansea and Blackpool now to make 8 points from 4 games now. Come on Rovers!!!
  18. Yes in the league but done it several times in the cups
  19. Very good point here. Well done Rovers.
  20. Brilliant save by PEARS AGAIN
  21. I would bring Buckley on for Morton
  22. FFS. just clear it. Don't know who it was. Pears made a good save there but the rebound goes in
