why is Paul Fielding leaving?

My team for this game Pears JRC Carter Hyam Pickering Travis Morton Wharton Hedges Szmodics BBD This will go down to the last game against Millwall where it could be winner takes all and that last playoff place

Szmodics is such a good player and even when things aren't coming off for him he is still working hard and that never stops with him Hedges was good when he came on JDT promised Rovers would perform in this game and it wouldn't be like the previous game against them which we under perform and rightly got beat You could see how much it hurt emotionally the entire playing squad and hopefully we turned that disappointed into a positive and beat those DIngles now

I think we will see over 17k on for this massive game and lets get behind the players and remain positive The tactics wasn't at fault for us conceded. JDT decided to bring on Wharton on cos Preston on 4 forwards on the pitch so he wanted an extra defender on the pitch which most managers would have done. Just imagine this forum if he had done nothing and we conceded this forum would be saying why didn't he bring on extra centre back on. JDT just can't win with some fans. I just don't get why people like yourself and @Waggy76are so anti JDT when he has improved and develop this team where we are in playoffs mix this season which most people didn't expect. Why such angry? JDT has been breath of fresh air and has improved our club and players on to another level since last season. 2 cup runs aswell plus Playoffs mix

He is doing well and we need to keep him here long term. He has been very good and move this club on from Mowbray time here. I just don't get why some fans don't want him here and want him sack which I think is crazy talk and sad to see from fellow Rovers fans

no surprised to see PL clubs wanting him but its at least season or 2 early to sell unless we get offered silly money like 20 million pounds plus.

My thoughts on the game are we were the better team overall and control the game. Playing 4-3-3 really helps us control the game. Szmodics's finish was excellent. He finish well and good movement aswell. Bring Hedges and BBD made us better second half attacking wise. Hedges should either go for power and the corner and waste time. His finish was pathetic. Wharton's slipping isn't good enough. Its unlucky goal to conceded. Thought the back 4 dealt with the attacks from them very well and Pears made good decent saves. JDT was right to stand by him again. I don't understand why anyone think its over for us cos its not. Its still in our hands and like I said before this is going down to the last game of the season against Millwall. As we seen today they will be plenty of more twists and turns so this is far from over and plenty to play for. I can understand people frustrations with conceded again in the last minute for the second game in a row but this is still within our grasp now. Lets behind the team on Tuesday and beat the Dingles on now! COYB! JDT's Blue and White Army 🔵⚪!!!

His decision making recently is just poor as it ever been. Whether its shooting instead of playing in Pickering twice against Hull for example. He is coming too deep for the ball but he doesn't in behind or making those runs anymore. We have to agree to disagree blaming the tactics for it. Well we have to agree to disagree there again. I guess you didn't enjoy how we played attacking against Huddersfield, Leicester, Sheffield United or QPR away then? Oh well then. The reason people want Leonard to start is he is number 9 striker and knows the right areas to be in. You want to move a player to that role who hasn't played well in that role when he has played there and wouldn't stay in the middle and would naturally drift wide to the left. Dolan has had more success playing there than BBD has with good performances in that position Maybe one of the reasons he played well in this game is he didn't have defensive duties due to how Huddersfield park the bus approach most of the game

great start by Southampton by going to 2 nil up. Arsenal have one back already. Looks to be open attacking game. Interesting Julian Nagelsmann has withdraw his application to become Chelsea head coach. its my opinion that he is coming too deep for the ball and stopped looking the ball in behind alot know. Look back over the number of games and its like his confidence has gone or he has an injury we don't know about Tomasson has taken a pragmatic approach in some games this season but our league position justify this IMO. He has been cautions at times but some times our attacking play has been a joy to watch. I don't think I am making BBD an easy scapegoat at all but given a honest opinion on his recent performances, playing too deep and shooting like he can. I have been one of BBD's biggest fan of him since he joined Rovers. Your idea is playing him as main striker which is role he hasn't played here much and for me wouldn't stay central but drift left anyway, so would he worth this?

I would drop him for PNE game. His overall performances haven't been good enough. He is dropping deeper himself nothing to do with tactics. His decision maker recently has been very poor. Like Hull game when twice he should have played Pickering in. Then Pickering could have shot on goal or cross. His confidence has gone aswell.

Yes I said I wouldn't have him here as Rovers head coach.
