  1. Why does that matter? Whether Mowbray is here or not should not let us stop making signings if they are a good deal for club even on pre contracts and they are quality players..
  2. Then don't appoint him. Rovers can't stop recruiting players based on Mowbray's future or not.
  3. Firstly I said it the way several United supporters friends want their team to play by playing high press and on the front foot. Clearly you didn't read that bit. If I was appoint United manager then I would play the best way to bring results even if that meant Ronaldo and Fernandes didn't play or had to drop for certain games.
  4. Manchester United do an interview with Ole about his time there and leaving now
  5. Well that's depends on how I want the team to play but I wouldn't be afraid of dropping anyone including Ronaldo. I have mention how several United supporters friends want them to play.
  6. Did it for Pochettino at Spurs and under Southgate for England. But he didn't fit OGS tactics at all. But imagine people wanted him.signed due to the extra revenue and sponsorship he brings in. Not a player needed at all. And look at all the baggage that's comes with him. Plus after a couple of seasons of him people get fed up with and make changes. Manchester City and Liverpool would never appointed him. Well given that United are well behind the big 3 right now they aren't going to win the League or Champions league in the few years. So maybe a cup and top 4 is the best they could hope for
  7. signing Ronaldo was a massive mistake b OGS and not someone they needed. They need a quality defensive midfielder. Sancho and Rashford can press from the front as they have shown with England before. . Also if they wanted a striker they should have gone for Harry Kane. They have tried this pragmatic approach over a period of time and under different managers plus spent millions after millions are still behind the big 3. People have their prefer styles of play and the way they want the team to play.
  8. Will be interesting if we terminate the Poveda loan deal now. I've watched some clips of Scully on the Lincoln City FC facebook page of him and his goals. He can finish and looks a threat. Reminds me abit of Adam Armstrong. If we want a striker on loan I would look at Everton striker Ellis Simms.
  9. They need a manager or head coach thats fits the club structure and will suits their players they have. For me, Pochettino would be the right fit. I have been talking to a few Manchester United supporters friends and they all have their opinions and one thing they all said is they want a manager who will play attacking football and press from the front. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12474689/manchester-united-mauricio-pochettino-top-target-to-replace-ole-gunnar-solskjaer Sir Alex 'wants Pochettino to succeed Solskjaer at United' (msn.com)
  10. Because he did a great job at Spurs and Southampton. Plus he would fit the club and how they play. He would be my 1st choice for the job if it was my choice
  11. Don't know how much he would cost. He scoring goals and someone I think we will be scouting with a view to signing summer
  12. They have spent over 200 million on Rovers and don't see to want to leave or sell. Plus just bought the training ground. Rovers don't need to lose 15 million a season if we had a better ticketing policy and prices. Plus sell a key player each season.
  13. He not on loan there from West Ham or on loan at Leyton Orient but he signed permanent for Lincoln in February 2020 from West Ham
  14. Sky Sports are saying that Pochettino is first choice and they are willing to wait for him
  15. Why would Venkys put the club into administration when most of debt is owed to them? Meaning they get nothing back money wise
  16. Don't ever think he was going to City. Not a Pep type player. Can't press from the front like City do
  17. Well they want an interim manager for the season but I don't see a obviously choice for that. Maybe Blanc or Valverde. I suspect that they move a Maurico Pochettino from PSG or Ajax Erik Ten Hag
  18. After the mess Manchester United was in morale wise then needed someone like him. But the failing to signed a top class defensive midfielder cost him and the team. Don't ever think his summer transfer plan include signing Ronaldo tbh. Also why sign Sancho and not use him until yesterday.
  19. Key part from that statement that Michael Carrick will now take charge of the team for forthcoming games, while the club looks to appoint an interim manager to the end of the season. So they are waiting for someone till the summer like Pochettino from PSG or Ten Hag from Ajax. So want an interim manager but who available.
  20. Player ratings from Crooke of Lancs Live https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/blackburn-rovers-player-ratings-bristol-22225836
  21. Didn't us going to back 5 help today given that Ayala seems to head everything away Second half from the Radio Lancashire commentary Second that. Great effort by those who attended the game.
  22. First wins for Steven Gerrard and Dean Smith in the first games in charge of their clubs. Plenty of goals in today's PL games. Match of the day will be good watch in the morning
  23. Ramsdale has been outstanding so for Arsenal in the first half
  24. The performance was poor from attacking point of view. Not good enough. Brereton scoring agan tho was a good finish. Very surprised Dolan didn't come on. The 3 centre backs of Lenihan, Ayala and Wharton made us more solid according Mark Atkins on Radio Lancashire. Proper good analysis of the game and performance of the players. Shame for the player
