JDT is learning about the championship game by game. Yes, that was one of differences on the game, but our tempo was far too slow first half Dack has to fight for him just like everyone else. no one is guaranteed a place in this team and that including BBD. I don't know if he did sulk away but I did see him clapping the fans at the end of game was JDT who always come over to Blackburn End -

Good win today by the players. It was good first half to watch as Rotherham didn't sit in and look to attack us. They did have chances to score but didn't take them. I thought Rathbone and Ogbene were their best players on the day. Tyler Morton impressed all game with his passing, tackling, skill and won us the Penalty in the first half. He deserved to be man of the match today. Brereton Diaz took the penalty and scored it. I thought our tempo was far too slow and movement at time too static for my likely. Second half, we upped the tempo and played with better movement creating some chances with Szmodics missing a header but with all in fairness the ball was behind him. Gallagher should have been at the back post for tap in from BBD but instead he went looking for cut back. Szmodics made a very good run and produced a good ball in for BBD at the far post to tap it home. On the third, It was good weight ball by Dolan straight into Szmodics path and he slotted it in the goal. I am pleased with the overall performance. Szmodics had a good game as did Wharton, Hyam and Pickering. Hedges didn't play as right wing back but just keep roaming around the pitch. delighted with the 3 points today. Still 7th but the top 7 is only 3 points difference now JDT's Blue and White Army 🔵⚪ -
Markanday was 19th man today and Hilton was there as 3rd keeper in case Kaminski or Pears got injury in warm up

Dack isn't with the under 21's today. Phillips, Edun, Carter and Buckley are with them. I suspect Dack will be on the bench today -

You can say its pie in the Sky but I think you should actually take it as the truth from JDT and GB cos that will be what is happening at Rovers now with a proper footballing management structure, changing the playing staff and backroom staff. Thankfully we don't sack and hire managers like other clubs do and actually give head coaches/managers time and patience -

Like I posted in the post Gibson has a history of appointing people for their first job in management like he has done with Bryan Robson, Steve McClaren, Gareth Southgate, Jonathan Woodgate and Altor Karanka. Robson delivered Promotion to PL, McClaren delivered a league cup and European football and Karanka delivered Promotion and PL football -

As I have said aswell as JB and others on here plus our DoF and head coach, this is a project, and it will take times to get the squad with signings and for the players to understand what JDT wants from them. Plus, like I said I see it has transition season for the several reasons I have explained to yourself the other day. JDT and GB everytime they speak mention the project and the team is under construction and they will be highs and lows for a period of time. Also have they have said this is about building a team to sustainable for getting promotion but staying in the PL -

like I said in Milwall match thread post-match the first half was two teams who didn't want to give anything away but our tempo of our attacking play was far too slow. When we up the tempo then teams struggle against us. JDT likes most of squad to play at the weekend whether its first team minutes or under 21's minutes. -

Maybe Markanday will make the bench instead. I don't know but he is very keen on players getting plenty of minutes when it for first team, or under 21's level. I have explained to you why I put decent. Or you allow him time to bring him that style by coaching the players and getting them used to what JDT wants with the ball and without. If you listen to the interview with Andy Bayes, Andy asked him about the passing style he wants to play. Also Rovers TV asked him about style and him needing time and patience to bring it in and fans having patience with him and the players -

Gibson has plenty of form for appointing first time managers like Bryan Robson, Steve McClaren, Gareth Southgate, Jonathan Woodgate and Altor Karanka. He has appointed Tony Pulis, Neil Warnock and Chris Wilder none who delivered what he wanted which is promotion. Boro want a head coach who will work with their director of football Keiran Scott from what has been reported by the media from when Wilder was sacked. -

Carrick fits the mould of an appointment Steve Gibson would like to make with the club keen to employ a head coach that would work under the club’s Head of Football Kieran Scott. Michael Carrick emerges as leading contender for Boro job - talks set to take place | The Northern Echo -

Brittain was very good signing and someone I wanted for the last 12 months at Rovers. Hyam has plenty of experience and can play in 4 or 5 we want to play. I want to more Szmodics and Hirst in the team cos so far, we only seen Szmodics has only played 7 games and 358 mins and Hirst 5 games with 150 mins, so I want to see them playing more and starting game. If they had played more and performed well it would have been good window based on performances. Mola will become more involved an that will start with him in the match day squad hopefully. I totally agree with you on this. I haven't been bored or the game has been dull so far. People need to understand that this is work in progress and he seems this passing style as the way forward for our club and to gained Success. Doubts and worries when we are 7th in the league and given the amount of changes to the playing staff and backroom staff plus a new footballing management structure then I think the season is going very well and better than I thought it would start under JDT. Plus its work in progress which takes time and that needs to be given JDT wants them to play with more tempo and quicker but it's the players on the pitch during games that need to happen. He has said that more than once how he wants to play here. -

I posted plenty of my opinions on here I watched the game live and back twice and Morton had a very good game. Dingles's manager Kompany is saying similar thing to JDT that the 5 weeks break is crucial to their season hopes. Beale has said that his side isn't where he wants them to be. That 3 new appointed head coaches/managers in the summer saying the same thing. -

Well get behind the project/plan Rovers have in place and let cheeer Rovers back to PL which will take time. That where I disagree with you. For me, JDT has done good job so far and I'm surprised we are 7th at the minute cos I expect nothing more than mid table as I see this transition season for the club with a new Director of Football, head coach, new coaching and backroom staff leaving and coming in. Plus 10 changes to the playing staff. JDT is learning about coaching at this level and what is need tactical. I would give him 7 out of 10. He played a major part in being JDT to Rovers, bringing in new staff to the recruitment and other departments at Rovers. Did a decent enough job with signings. Got several players new contracts all sorted including Ash Phillips, Adam Wharton and John Buckley. I would say 7.5 out of 10. Gus Williams hasn't been head of recruitment before he worked for Wales FA for over 20 years. Look at the improved he made within that setup over the years. I don't know who the head of European Scouting or head of data scouting either, but Rovers will announce shortly Well I will be there as always and I couldn't think of anywhere better to be on Saturday afternoon then Ewood Park supporting the Rovers in the blue and white shirts. -

The amounts were anyway near our valuation of the player so Rovers rightly rejected it. Morton was very good at Blackpool actually. Received plenty of praise for that performance from Sky, and other media who covered that game. You wanted experience midfielder, but Rovers didn't one for that. JDT decide Morton was the right signing for us. Matty, why people are asking questions that Rovers or Rovers employees have already answered then I will used them to reply. If you don't like my post, please feel free to ignore my posts and don't read them.
