How is the recruitment based on a short term when we are signing Sammie Szmodics for a couple of millions and Callum Brittain already signed for around 1 million pounds and 4 year contract? on the 10 players who left a few of them were only squad players like Poveda, Zeefuik, Johnson, Davenport so these have already been replace. Nyambe and Rothwell have been replace by Brittain and Morton. We are only looking at making 5 or 6 signings this summer. I think we signed at least 3/4 permanent signings and a couple of loans.

Its was 5 until Morton signed. Now 4 exactly. He should only speak at transfer confirmation and nothing else not interviews with local reporters at this stage of the transfer window. I am feeling the JDT revolution right now and looking forward to us playing the style he wants us to play. Its the style of play and Formation I was saying we should be playing here. For me its work in progress and I would accept top half in his first season and transition season if its more time to bring in new style of play and his philosophy. JDT has always said it will take time and patience to bring in his playing style and get us playing the way he wants us to. So maybe give him the proper time to bring in it and get the signings in he wants

I much prefer to leave to the player and the family decide where they want to live especially when you get different circumstances. I don't see the lack of striker signing being a problem and I would be happy with our current options plus Szmodics. Its BS that Jack Vale is judged by different standards. blimey it was the 1st game of the season and if you look at all results over the weekend in the championship its very tight and close league. JDT is bringing a new style and way he wants us to press from the front. This will take time and patience from us fans to allow this happen. It was game 1. JDT and the players need time and patience to bring in the tactics/formation and style of play JDT wants to bring in. Its work in progress and game by game we will get much better by playing this style. Hedges did well in the number 10 role on Saturday.

I always said 6 signings. We signed Callum Brittain. Its appears we close to sign Sammie Szmodics from what we hear. Tyler Morton is on his way from Liverpool according to media reports behind the deadline. @Phillhas said Callum Styles should sign here by end of the week. Then we need centre back signing and replacement striker/forward if Ben Brereton does leave but that is far from certain he will be leaving here.

I read the article from Elliott Jackson and excellent piece article on how we want to play under JDT. I don't think we need a target man at all. We need a pressing striker if BBD does go which is far from certain that will happen. Otherwise I wouldn't sign another player after Szmodics, Morton, Styles and CB. (if Szmodics, Morton and Styles all sign here)
