  1. But did better at Bournemouth with better players. Could he do good with our squad and improve on last season? that the real and proper question? probably not
  2. Waggott, Pasha, Cheston and Silvester all there Who knows what is going on. LT doesn't say he is deffo going. Says they are still in talks but he might be going elsewhere. Hedging his bets Sharpe there. here is the story for you to see what you think https://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/1131320758?-11198:839
  3. All depends on the reasons he left. maybe he doesn't want to be number 1 anymore and wants to go back to being a coach again or maybe he is unhappy the budget there for the coming season
  4. I already explained by the post you quoted. What more do you want?
  5. Its fair point but you still need to keep the scoreboard ticking over and can't just block after block. You have to look to score even off the great bowlers and I look at how we played Shane Warne in the 2005 series. he will take wickets whether you block or looking to score so you got to score when you can but we sensible in defending.
  6. Supposedly he is having talks with Borussia Monchengladbach Players returned for pre season training and fitness check on the 13th of June. Question is who is going to be doing the fitness and medical checks when we got no fitness coaches in the senior coaching staff setup and no head of medical services and 1 senior physio in the senior staff set up. Are we going to using academy staff to be doing these like like the academy head of sport science and medicine Russ Wrigley
  7. He won 13 games out of 23 games there and got them a playoff place
  8. I think he would be interviewed by Waggott and Pasha given his championship experience and the job he did at Bournemouth
  9. Fulham have made Josh Onomah available. I think he would be good signing for us for the Centre midfield spot
  10. Kevin Pietersen just now on Sky Sports is giving his opinion on Crawley and other batsman. He says there is nothing actually wrong with Crawley but its more about mental and picking the right ball or right bowler to attack. Kevin Pietersen says he thinks Alex Lees doesn't know where his off stump is. That why he was taking off stump guard
  11. It was brilliant to watch and we can deffo put on a show on in this great country.
  12. where has he been linked? He is the New York City head coach. Here is his profile. He has managed Celtic and has won trophies in Norway and Celtic New York City FC (nycfc.com) Makes we wonder if we are bringing in Jason Wilcox as Sporting Director and he suggest Ronny Delia as head coach.
  13. Gerrard as 2 assistant head coaches working with in with them being Gary McAllister and Now Neil Critchley then they have Tom Culshaw has technical coach, Neil Cutler as GK coach, Austin Macphee as Set pieces coach then Aaron Danks as first team coach there. Training Ground Guru | Aston Villa staff profiles
  14. I read that and thought that. But the LT and Alan Nixon they want Championship experience. fake twitter account I would imagine that Gerrard put the call into Critchley a couple of days before Beale was announced to line up the deal for him to leave Blackpool for Villa. Strange move unless he wants to move to being just a firs team coach after his spell as head coach or maybe he was unhappy about the budget for the coming season and wants out.
  15. Brendon McCullum isn't going to a technique coach as he has said previously. For me, Far too much focus on this perfect technique andThis is no perfect technique. Is Steve Smith or Joe Root or Kane Williamson or Virat Kohli batting techinque? is it eck! Was the England test coach Brendon McCullum's technique perfect? I will name another 2 players who I always like watching and admire were Jacques Kallis and Steve Waugh and neither had the this perfect batting technique but had great cricketing careers Crawley batted very well yesterday cos he left well and played good attacking shots to the right balls until he got out. But is the top scorer from both sides.
  16. Crawley played very well and I thought he was the pick of the Batsmen from both teams. Root, Bairstow and Stokes played poor shots today. It was very enjoying day of Test Cricket and The ball has swing enough all day. Anderson, Board and Potts were excellent for us.
  17. I was thinking Jason Wilcox for the Sporting Director job Nope. I've had a very good day of watching the Jubilee celebrations this morning plus good day of test cricket. Plus enjoying this great weather Blackburn Rovers is a majority part of life Mike.
  18. He has Farke and Ainsworth in a previous post to another poster. He has mention a B list now but he thinks it's not serious list. It appears the second interview is with the owners from his comments. That's regarding the Sporting Director role.
  19. TBF, he would be sensible choice but not someone I was hoping for to take us to the next level and promotion. Also like another Mowbray type.
  20. Liam Manning might be an interesting choice if Rovers are actually willing to pay Compo.
  21. Rule Neil Critchley out for the next head coach role here as he has leave Blackpool as head coach to become assistant at Villa under Steven Gerrard So Blackpool now want a new head coach. Club Statement: Neil Critchley | Blackpool Football Club (blackpoolfc.co.uk)
  22. Crawley did well. He looks like he getting better. Lees remembers me of Cook. Solid and defensive. Won't over attack tho Hopefully Pope can made the number 3 slot his own now after massive backing from Stokes and McCullum
