Why did I say it would be good appointment? I did I could get behind that sort of appointment given he did a good job in Switzerland
-
Burnley appointed a new coach to the staff before appointing Parker as their head coach which is normal at most championship clubs Assistant head coach to a new head coach? or even the new head coach which I wouldn't be surprised to be very honest
-
don't agree the situation is dire. I gave my opinions on all 4 supposedly candidates earlier today. here the post https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/37586-new-manager-wishlist/?do=findComment&comment=2688082 We could appoint and they could get us playoff place. Just like Eustace got us top 6 before leaving for Derby, did you predict that? no he didn't, neither did I in all fairness. I thought we might challenge for it. Right now, we are 6th and we have a good chance of top 6 if(big if) we make a good appointment now. Over to Gestede, Owen and Suhail to deliver I gave the proper context to the story unlike your post which did not Its very normal that any new head coach bring one or 2 staff with him but works with the rest of the staff there.
-
One of his staff didn't want to come to WBA the other staff couldn't get a work permit here. That is the fact of the situation
-
very different to what you said. its quite normal that a new head coach would bring 1 or 2 of his own staff then work with the rest of the staff already at the club like GK coach and fitness coach
-
I suggested Dennis during the window didn't I? Also I have said more than once, we are 6th currently, made a quick sensible appointment and we can get a playoff place. Its wide open. Fair enough, I was wrong. You enjoyed saying nay never yay isn't it? 🤔 You slammed the shortlist, when asked for who would you like on the shortlist, you can't suggest even just one single name. I will say this, I don't see one outstanding candidate out there currently in the UK market, who I think he is the right fit us, like I did with Eustace.
-
wrong here, his move through fell through as one of his staff wouldn't come to WBA and another one couldn't get a UK work permit Tommy

I am annoyed at how slow Rovers reacted to Eustace Derby link and why did we wait until Monday Afternoon for talks with Eustace over the Derby move. Rovers should have sorted it out on Saturday night/Sunday morning. just so slow -
You didn't want Eustace in the first place either. You complained about the rumour shortlist, but can't one single name who you would like which I find totally baffing Cos we are 6th and we have a good chance of playoff if we select the right candidate we can do, I still believe that there is 2 places in playoffs for someone to grab. Rovers should be making a quick decision and before Saturday game for me. what your view on Lee Carsley?

a point I have made since last night. Communication poor yet from the club. simple statement like this " whilst Eustace and co have talks with Derby, Damien Johnson will lead the team as interim head coach and support by David Lowe, Mike Sheron, Karl Hodges and Ben Benson. " -
was in the director box on Sunday as normal

Its seems that Rovers have had this shortlist given Nicko hints since Sunday. Wicky was close to getting the WBA job before but broke down over one of his coaching staff wouldn't come and his GK coach he wanted couldn't get a work permit. I could get behind that but whether he would come with his own choice of staff I don't know. Hopefully we been talking to him off the record and seeing whether he will come or not without his own staff. If not, moved on very quick. O'Neil, It is someone I think would be good choice for me but doubts whether he would fit our footballing structure and whether he would accept those terms Carvalhal has always been a head coach who doesn't stay long at any clubs and I'm not sure that sort of appointment is right for the club Karanka,, had success at Boro but his man-management skills seems to be possible a problem plus his lack of success since that promotion at Boro I would like a new head coach in by Friday cos we have a good chance of top 6 and the right appointment could make this happened. Its seem that the search for the Eustace's replacement is being done by Gestede and Owen who I guess with make their choice to recommend to Pasha who then will decide yay or nay. I'm not surprised that it is mainly foreign shortlist given that they will work under Gestede has Head of Football operations and Owen has head of Technical development, whilst having little say in transfers. I'm not sure O'Neil would accept that but you never know.

I asked again, who else would you like to see on the shortlist? Any names? Any?
-
Who are you really expect to be on that Shortlist? Any names you would like to see approach instead? Any one? Why is that list of Terrible?
-
He was here as youth coach years ago.. Was on Robins staff at Coventry before sack

Nicko is saying the Rovers shortlist Gary O'Neil Altor Karanka Raphael Wicky Carlos Carlavhal Also possible that George Boeteng could be appoint to the coaching staff

This is where the club let itself down every time. This situation should have been resolve on Saturday night/Sunday. Rovers would have seen the rumours and did no one asked him pre game, is the anything in these rumours/report, yet Rovers management did nothing yet again No presser yesterday Cos it called proper communication with your fan base and stakeholders. The important people that is your core of the club. Rovers could have simply said that whilst Eustace and co have talks with Derby, Damien Johnson will lead the team as interim head coach and support by David Lowe, Mike Sheron, Karl Hodges and Ben Benson. That's proper and correct communication with your fans -
What does it matter why he ain't coming. Full stop. I read somewhere that Cooper is still being paid by Leicester so no way are we paying compo for him I have no idea what Elliott has said. What your shortlist and who is first choice from it?

really guys? Of course its the business of every fan and stakeholder in the club. The poor communication has been mentioned to them several times and as a Rovers fan and STH we have a right to know what is going, who will be in charge for tomorrow game and who took training today. We the Rovers fan base have a right to know -
is this a real question? Cooper is still being paid by Leicester and are we likely to pay his compo to bring in to the club RF99 The communication from the club is poor again.

Nope, I have email the club this afternoon asking who is in charge for the game and who took training today. No response, email sent around dinner time ish. Can @K-Hod, @Mike Graham @Miller11 mention to the club management in the next manager about the lack of clear communication to the Rovers fans about who would be in charge of the WBA game and who is taking charge of training whilst Eustace and his staff are in talks with Derby -

I think I have been more than clear on everything to do with the recruitment side of the team and what I think went on behind the scenes in terms of power struggles, disagreements and comparisons on transfer targets. Is it? cos you trust the source of the info? Just like we know now that McBurnie was target despite you dismissing it. Here a question for you, should Rovers have sign one of three players of Bamford, Thomas-Asante and McBurnie who were Eustace's target for the striker signing? -
