  1. Cos they didn't and never will. Its the way it is. I would like to know myself why they make these decisions but I don't expect it will happen any time soon
  2. Excellent game of football to watch for the neutral between Leeds and Manchester United. Let's hope the next game is between Wolves and Leicester.
  3. Waggott's comment yesterday on the Rovers official website and Radio Lancs why after the decisions. You honestly think the referee body is going to allow make public why they make decisions?
  4. an interesting article on the woes at Reading FC It Doesn't Make For Good Reading - FootballTyper
  5. I think I can remember Dack taking a penalty for us before. I don't think anyone else has. Maybe Pickering did for Crewe I don't know. Maybe Khadra can take them but I don't think most have taking penalty in game before
  6. I don't remember seeing most of our current squad ever take penalties in their career
  7. Mowbray saying in the LT that both he and Rowett wanted to play the game Blackburn Rovers and Millwall managers wanted game to go ahead | Lancashire Telegraph
  8. Still in disbelief that Reading has appointed Paul Ince as Interim manager. Would be interesting to know how they reach this appointment and will he get the job permanent if he does well there. Or are they waiting Kia Joorabchian to find them a manager/head coach suitable? Couldn't think of worst appointment tbh
  9. Its just guess who I think would take them. But we don't have natural penalty taker in the 11. maybe Rothwell or Khadra might be a penalty taker.
  10. Heckingbottom has done a good job there since taking over from Jokanovic. He has gone back to a formation and style that suits the players there. Jokanovic seems not to want to play that way. From what I have read he was never the first choice there. Its will be very tough game and we need to be defensive solid and make sure we kept Billy Sharp quiet. Would I make any changes to the team that was meant to play against Millwall? probably bring in Dolan for Khadra. Dolan speed and closing down their back 3 players will force mistakes from them and it how was capitalise on them by scoring. My team Kaminski; Lenihan, Van Hecke, Wharton; Nyambe Travis Rothwell, Pickering; Buckley; Dolan, Gallagher
  11. Fantastic game between Man City vs Spurs. 3-2 Spurs
  12. He did make the match day squad in the 20/21 season when he came on against Reading and almost scored when he hot the cross bar. Given how we played with the current system I didn't see the need for another option. Even if we switch formation to 4-3-3 we have enough options for me. Used those 2 players as examples. agreed on that last point We do have a plan b which would 4-3-3 formation with either Brereton Diaz or Gallagher or Dolan central. Then pick your 2 wide players to play
  13. So you can make a judge over one short clip of a second or 2? people who were there in ground can't plus given the comments of the people I mention in previous post.
  14. The ground staff said it was playable. The pitch look nothing like the Pitches against PNE and Huddersfield which was in worst weather conditions than today. Mowbray, Rowett, Rovers and Millwall players wanted to play. Commentators on Radio Lancs were surprised the game was cancelled as Kevin Gallagher he played on worst pitches. Everyone said it was playable apart from the Ref. There is a video posted in the Facebook group TheRovers page which show the state of the pitch given that Rovers keeper did a work out in the Penalty area and also show the ball not stopping on the surface.. Maybe take a look at that as further evidence that the game should have played. The ref was centre of attention cos of the decision he made today on a playable pitch. Ive seen worst pitches played on at Ewood Park over the last 30 years. Blimey, the Football world has gone crazy cancelling games for the state of the pitch was in today. the game should have played today. No excuses for having the game called off today.
  15. for people who keep saying we didn't an attacker in January we actually signed 2 players for those roles in Hedges from Aberdeen and 500k signing from Spurs in Markanday. Sadly Markanday got injured on his debut otherwise he would have been an good option for us. I look forward to seeing him next season in Rovers shirt
  16. You seen live ever Jack Vale whether in the under 18's or 23's or on loan at these 2 clubs? Vale is a very talent player who should go on and good career for us and in the future clubs. I said I gave them as example of who we could have signed, I said in Mid January that we didn't need one. My stance hasn't change even if we change formation. Given that the transfer window is closed and we have Vale who is performing in the under 23's I suggested given him a chance from the bench.
  17. has the club confirm that?
  18. The pitch was playable today if given the PNE and Huddersfield games were played in worst weather conditions. The ref make the wrong call. It was sun shining not long after.
  19. Thats all I wanted to know. Why would Benson lie to people? another conspiracy? I seen the pitch with and without snow on it. What drainage issues? the Ground staff said the pitch was fit to play? are they lying also? Given that you weren't at the ground, I witness everything going on. The pitch was fit to play on, the players and managers from both teams wanted to play it, and the sun was shining for ages the game should have played. The only people who didn't want it played with the referee and his assistants.
  20. I said it last summer actually Dan when Armstrong was going and we have a very limited budget that players had to step up. I would have given McBride or Burns or Vale a chance of the bench this season.
  21. Does his loan spell matter really? If you want a striker then use Vale since we didn't sign one in the January. Before my ban , I posted that we didn't need another striker due to how we played our strikers/forwards and the system we are currently playing. I will stand by that given the options we have for the 2 forwards roles plus the false 9 role. I am still happy with our options in that department. Would I sign a Maja or Healey in January for example? no cos how our 2 forwards play. But still we are 3rd in league and still challenging for that second place. This is our dip in form just like other teams in the top 6 are experiencing like QPR or Bournemouth have before had. Yet still 3rd in the league with a good chance of second in the league, Bournemouth will feel the pressure and bottle it in my opinion. have I said we are not weaker with Ben Brereton but its an opportunity and the team to perform. Yes but others can and must step up.
  22. Not really at all in my opinion
