  1. Need to get our main striker on a long term contract. Vital for prospects of getting promote
  2. Armstrong next please
  3. wasnt expect to sign a new deal so delighted he has. Excellent news and his comments about the quality of the squad are encouraging news. Hope Armstrong and Rothwell are next
  4. Always expect Dack to be well of the pace. Its will be weeks before he back in the 1st team
  5. Watford appointed their new head coach Xisco Munoz https://www.watfordfc.com/news/club/official-xisco-munoz-appointed-head-coach
  6. For me, Armstrong is a 9 for me. Hes a goalscorer and striker..always has been. Can play and do a job wide/inside forward but never his natural role. Unlike we seen with Brereton who is much more suited to that role. Gallagher is a striker by trade. He has the odd game wide where he is good like Brentford away just recently where Simon Garner gave him a rave review. But he should be striker.
  7. Anyone know much about Xisco Munoz?
  8. How often did he play as the 9 in the team? He played up front against Preston away, Bristol City away and Stoke away where he scores 3 goals and performed in their games
  9. Why play 3 centre back against 1 striker? Also with the injuries we got and lack of training sessions happening not like we can try a new formation? I would try the 4-2-2-2 formation again. Similar to how Hasenhuttl plays at Southampton. He has impressed me with how he has got them playing and how well he has Stuart Armstrong playing there. We have played this formation before and with Dack returning shortly it might be a way to played. We havent tried a back 3 for the 18 months and with injuries at the back to our centre backs I dont see it has a viable option. Here is Rovers Analytics twitter account on how we could play 4-2-2-2 formation
  10. Dont do wind up RoversClitheroe and that's a type of comment that's happens when you dont accept other people views cos they are very different from yours. Mowbray isn't an awful manager at all. I and many others are more than happy to back him and give us this season.
  11. Dingle alert Either of them have connections to HSH agency?
  12. Well it's over 13 months actually. Hows your Bottle of red going?
  13. Well if that's any sort of potential shortlist cos of the HSH agency connection and not many you would want off that list surely
  14. O'Neil joined Stoke on 8th November 2019 so how is that under a year then?
  15. I wouldnt drop the 4-3-3 as it suits Armstrong, Brereton and Elliot as front 3. Rothwell is suited to the midfield 3. We should have sign Manning as left back not Douglas. So how would you set up then?.same question.I asked Roversfan99 then?
  16. So with our current squad, how would set us up in terms of style, formation wise and tactical then please?
  17. O'Neill has been at Stoke for over 13 months now and joined them on 8th November 2019
  18. Mowbray change his tactics in the league 1 season cos his original plan wasnt to play direct style. So with our current squad, how would set us up in terms of style, formation wide and tactical then please?
  19. Didnt want Douglas in the 1st place. Always wanted Manning here. Mowbray made a massive mistake there. Never materialised cos Williams never moved on and Wharton was good enough to part of the centre back options
  20. I haven't changed my view on Mowbray. I would give him the season and review in the summer. Nothing has changed my view so far. I wouldnt want to play the way Stoke are. I want us to play an attractive positive possession based way. I wanted us to created chances after chances. You wanted to play how Stoke do then fair enough. I dont. It isnt snobbiness but how I want my team to play.
  21. You were massive in favour of him signing here wasnt you? We are missing Him massively cos his importance on wide left is need
  22. Disappointed to get nothing from the game. We didnt created many clear chances but lacked ideas in the final third. 1 shot on target. Scored then looked to defend for the rest of the game. Never looked to push on for second. Very similar to how O'Neill managed at Northern Ireland. Credit to him. I am disappointed by our lack of creativity in final third and its costing despite our possession stats.
  23. If I heard something I would post it on forum. I've barely been on here in the last few days/weeks
  24. How do I know? Am I his agent now? Cos talks are happening of course but until he signs how can we been confident yet?
