some very good posts in this thread. I personally can't wait to get back to Ewood Park to supported Rovers. I have missed the ground, watching the team live inside a stadium and the normal matchday routine. I missed attending the some under 23's and 18's games aswell. Watching Rovers on a stream or following Rovers via Radio or other means just isn't the same for me as being inside a stadium watching my team. I enjoyed watching football on TV but thats as a neutral fan. I can apprenticed that other people feel for different about it

who says Venkys arent prepared to sign off the transfers for Pickering? Venkys trusted Mowbray thats why they signed off a loan transfer this week. You have seen post from @Kamy100 and @PeteJD13 saying that Venkys trusted Mowbray and they like him why not at Boro? did you see their performance and loss to Birmingham City today? Boro arent anything special.

awful 1st half performance and second half wasn't much better until Buckley and Holtby came on with Dack going off. (no blame to Dack btw). Last 20 mins much better and players look hungry and got some attacking play finally. Armstrong's 1st half offside goal should have given. Never offside. If Chester would have never bought him down I think Armstrong would have scored and we won the game but didnt happen. Branthwaite looks promising and can see why Mowbray wanted him. Davenport and Brereton should start next game.

You got to think set pieces marking and height of the team somewhat but not over think it

Stoke are physical team so someone like Johnson will be needed at set pieces but also defensive against someone like Powell if he is playing. I was torn between him and Davenport who I think deserves his chance in team. I haven't look at Stoke team news tho

Team I would go for. Rothwell has to play.in midfield to run and take players on. Plus he has dribbling to take players on. We lack this when he does play
