I dont see Rowett walking out Millwall sadly. He walked out on Derby for Stoke and I'm sure he regrets it so I'm unsure he will do it again Yes I like Rowett. Did an excellent job at Birmingham and doing a good job at Millwall. Did Jokanovic speak off this desire recently?

Asked nicko no response.

The club isnt named in the herald report

Most of those managers are out of work for a reason. Roy Keane. Not been a manager for 9 years. Yes 9 years. Hughes. Not been a manager for 18 months and never been in a job without Bowen. Can he do it without him? Well we see if you ever gets a job. Why would Jokanovic leave his club in Qatar where he earning millions in wages for Club in East Lancashire where his wages would be much lower? Rowett leaving Millwall for us? ?

I have mention that the club hasn't had the right structure in terms of scouting, recruitment, data analysis for seasons going back to Bowyer time the club. This is problem the club has had for years and the clubs and people they have employed at the boardroom level should have put in place. We need have now investing in a proper scouting structure with money, time and employing people so we need to see this come forward this summer with signings from Europe as well as the UK

out of contract in 12 months time. If we arent agreeing a new contract then we need to sell him as we cant afford to lose him on a free transfer
-
I posted the reasons last week Mercer to yourself and others Would you had wanted that poll after Bristol City win?
-
as he said last week he has different budget transfer lists for different budgets. I would imagine he is talking to the owners weekly anyway. He could miss could Reading game and fly over to India to meet the owners if that's that what they want. Better way is to use Video Communicating at Ewood Park to the owners and set a budget for the season. Let the out of contract players leave after this month apart from possible Downing who has good overall apart from the last 3 games as I said in the summer transfer window thread. Plus other players available for transfers but its look like we will need one of 2 players to sold. Hopefully FFP rules will be relax as UEFA have done. You have your problems with FFP rules but they are there cos clubs wanted them in place.
-
Mercer, we arent going to agree Mowbray or Keane at all. I wanted Mowbray to stay as manager for next season and I have said who I would pick to replace him after he goes. I aint wavering from this Yes I am aware of the FFP situation, blimey I have been posting about it all last week. Did you miss all them? The squad can been change by not renewing the out of contract players and selling one or 2 players like Nyambe to give you some movement plus I suspect the FFP rules will be relax has UEFA have done.

I think we have to agree giving any deals to these out of contract players apart from possible Downing who has been good overall this season but the last 3 games he hasnt been good enough

Isn't Dack going to back before the start of next season? Surely we have to use this scouting network we set up overseas this summer to find players after investing money, time and employing more staff in this department? I wouldn't be selling Armstrong at all cost. He is the striker scoring the goals and he should be the 1st name on the team sheet. And I agree with @Parsonblue about bringing through our academy/under 23's players like Carter, Thompson, Hilton, Vale and Butterworth into the 1st team squad is a must now.
-
sounds like Mowbray is going to shake the squad this transfer window in order to get that top 6 next season
-
Roy Keane? no thanks. Worst suggestion. Can't get a club job in the UK. no personality, no man management skills and no tactical knowledge. Football has move on from Keane management days. why keep comparing us to some of the biggest clubs in the world or one of the greatest manager and his backroom team? McClaren is a quality coach but he isn't a manager. who are protesting against? The owners? or Mowbray?
-
same as before. No change for me for the same reasons I have posted last week. Bristol City have made 31 million profit in the last 2 seasons. So even tho they are investing in the squad they are still selling key players like they did in the summer like Adam Webster and Lloyd Kelly plus Brownhill in January. I don't know you can say this with any certain since we dont know what the target was the from owner for this season? was it top half half or top 10 or top 6 finish? who knows what they set Mowbray.

Championship season 2019-20
chaddyrovers replied to arbitro's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
well Bristol City in the last 2 seasons have made a 14 million pounds profit between buying players and selling players this season and the season before 17 million pounds profit. They sold Adam Webster last summer for 20 million to Brighton after buying him around 4 mil season before. Plymouth boss Ryan Lowe is the current favourite with the sky bet -
Eddie Niedzwiecki is Mark Bowen number 2. Kevin Hitchcock is goalkeeper coach at MLS team New England Revolution. Glyn Hodges is manager at AFC Wimbledon.

Wonder who next for Bristol City? Do they have someone line up for the job? yes resigned cos the players were not performing for him. Now he got to keep Boro up. can he do it? What would Gibson do if Boro do given his decisions he has made at the club over the last 18 months. -
Nuno got the Wolves job due to his agent. Stuart Webber who was sporting director at Huddersfield when he appointed Wagner then he walked out on them for Norwich where he appointed Farke. is Suhail even in the country? Considering we have the coronavirus pandamic

Leeds at Home 4.7.20

We should have scored at least 2 goals in the 1st half with Gallagher and Holtby chances and Armstrong free kick was class and no surprise at all. Walton had a shocker with 2 of today's goals. Even when we got the goal back we still couldn't defence properly. Disappointing result given the clear cut chances we had -
