Travis is way off being match fit, he seems rooted to the floor all the time. -

There is no bite in our midfield, we are too slow to react. We look one paced. -
TRANSFER THREAD - JANUARY 2021

I think Buckley is a bit like, for those who can remember him, Lee Mackel. He was highly talented and arrived with great expectations, but sadly never fulfilled his promise. -

How many times did Ayala try to handball it in that match!! Unbelievable how he got away with it. -
Rovers v Middlesbrough Tuesday 3rd November

It was a pitiful performance where we could not string two passes together. I thought that it was Halloween it was so scary to watch. However, I was sick and tired of being the better side in matches and yet still losing. Gaining a point in an ugly way was at least gratifying. We didn’t have strikers on the pitch who can score goals so it was always going to be difficult, but the team as a whole defended manfully and for once luck was on our side even if the games officials weren’t!! we need our best players back and fast so that we can start winning games and get our confidence back. Fortunately there is still a long way to go so will remain hopeful for the future. -

Summer Transfer Window 2019

I think that TM was holding back what money he had hoping to get Reed at the end of the window at a bargain price. He did try for him apparently, but failed!! So money wasted or more for Jan window? My view is he should have spent it on a really good CB. It could cost him his job if things don’t go well. -
Summer Transfer Window 2019

It would seem that we probably had to guarantee Tosin a starting place for the majority of the games. If we then went and got a really good CB or Hanley, they would have had to play as well, so where would that have left Lennihan? Signing a CB who would be willing to warm the bench wouldn’t have improved our 1st team and could have blocked the progression of our academy players. Letting Mulgrew leave is no loss to the defence, but leaves us short of good enough CBs for cover. If we DO manage to sign the LB then at least we will have strengthened the back 4. -

Reid maybe? -
I think that after his fine pre-season we will see Brereton start ahead of DG. Why? Because the new style of play is based on quick interplay which needs mobility and speed, something that DG for all his many fine attributes is lacking.
