Possible? The evidence suggests it's entirely probable. How many times have we tailed off after Christmas? How many failed transfers all down to "silly mistakes"? I mentioned it on another post recently but any other owners would be doing their nut about not going up. That's where the big money is after all in the Premier League. Scrimping and saving, reducing the wage bill is a drop in the ocean compared to the riches available in the Prem. We finish 7th, the Rao's allow those running the club to dismantle that team and replace with unknowns with no EPL experience (in the main). Why would you? Promotion has never felt like the goal.

I really don't know. As they say though, to make sense of it all, follow the money.

Thing is it's been a loss of approx £20m a season for a while now. If we had another 12,000 fans turn up paying £400 for a ST that would still mean a loss of £15m a season. So Why?! Why do they bother? Well, they don't bother at all actually, apart from sending money there is zero involvement and certainly no passion, no love, no care, nothing. It's obvious to anyone even with a limited understanding of the situation that the only possible way you can make money from Blackburn Rovers, and even then it would be a one season clawing back off as much as possible (no way would we stick around up there), would be to get promoted to the Premier League. Yet when we nearly make the play offs it all goes wrong. Managers leave, player signings go wrong at the last minute. The club can't do enough to mess it up. And what happens? Nothing. The same guy who has run the show for 15 years is still here. The same guy who regularly oversees this fall off is allowed to continue in his role. Why is that? Surely there should be some accountability? "Oh well, they missed out on promotion again, I'll just send another 20 million quid". Nah, that can't be it surely? Who benefits from this arrangement that is the ownership of BRFC? It is guaranteed, without question, that someone somewhere is making money out of this. Any sane business whose share price has taken a drop (or even if it hadn't to be honest) would have acted. Why? What is their Why? (Simon Sinek). Promotion? The love of the game? Dragging their brand through the mud for years isn't it either. You'd demand promotion or cut your losses and sell surely? Unless of course it's not just their decision to sell?? And that of course is why there is much panic when we get near those playoffs. Don't get promoted - there's a higher level of scrutiny in the Premier League. They'll want to look at the accounts. Just who is on the wage bill??? Let's get into the detail. Again, someone (or a group of individuals) is / are making a lot of money here. There are too many key characters involved who clearly don't care for the club, the fans, our history, for it not to be the case.

Allegedly, they're not releasing the 150th shirt until the new year as sales of the Rovers, Wolves and Plymouth kits haven't gone as well as expected. A familiar theme over the last 15 years that, things not going well. Suhail Pasha getting nearly everything wrong on his watch yet with no accountability seems to be the Rao family way.

It certainly does, thank you. So, November comes, the worst that could happen is a fine of £7.7m? A drop in the ocean for our billionaire chicken crazed negligent overlords you'd think. Key point being "I don’t see why it matters any more as the various interim orders have allowed Venkys to send monies anyway." - so any talk of November being a significant date - particularly when the case is adjourned again and put back until Feb after the transfer window - would be a little disingenuous as a reason for not providing (transfer) funds.

Sorry about this, I don't think I understand! Is this Court mullarkey over and done with following the removal of the guarantee condition? Is that the end of it? Or is there more Court shenanigans to follow? And if so when? Reason is that I've just listened to Andy Bayes talking on line and he gave the impression that this was still ongoing. This. The one constant has been Suhail. 15 years at the top of the tree, most of which went under the radar somehow. So…. not that the owners ever define their Mission Statement or their Goal for a season… if that was achieving promotion then that would bring accountability. I mean at any other club sitting in the top 6 then losing your manager and failing to reach the play offs (never mind promotion) would be considered a failure, a monumental one at that. "How did it go so wrong?!" the owners would ask after another £20m was allegedly frittered away for a season. "Blooming 'eck Suhail, you keep at it lad, another 15 years and you'll get the hang of this!" they'd chuckle in India. However, the Goal, the Mission for the season is never defined. Ask most supporters come August every year and their expectations are that the club will do all it can to be promoted. What an assumption to make. One that I make myself I hasten to add. I mean if they want any chance of getting their money back the only way to do so is through promotion to the Premier League isn’t it? Everyone knows that don't they? It's obvious isn't it? You wouldn’t know. I don’t feel a burning desire to get there do you? There are plenty of Rudy's out there, we've had a revolving door fitted for them, but Suhail has to go. Why on earth he is still here now is a complete mystery. If you judge him on my goals and what I’d like to see Blackburn Rovers achieve every year for the last 15, he’s a walking failure. A loser. And after this last transfer window I'd suggest he's going to fail again. You’ve really got to wonder what the owners see in him after 15 years.
