  1. It certainly does, thank you. So, November comes, the worst that could happen is a fine of £7.7m? A drop in the ocean for our billionaire chicken crazed negligent overlords you'd think. Key point being "I don’t see why it matters any more as the various interim orders have allowed Venkys to send monies anyway." - so any talk of November being a significant date - particularly when the case is adjourned again and put back until Feb after the transfer window - would be a little disingenuous as a reason for not providing (transfer) funds.
  2. Sorry about this, I don't think I understand! Is this Court mullarkey over and done with following the removal of the guarantee condition? Is that the end of it? Or is there more Court shenanigans to follow? And if so when? Reason is that I've just listened to Andy Bayes talking on line and he gave the impression that this was still ongoing. Alongside that absolutely nothing has been reported about it in the local press (with apologies if I've missed it). Thanks again Wilsden or indeed anyone else who can clarify.
  3. Can only think that he represents the "stakeholders".
  4. Todd “That’s a John Deere Val, I should know, I played for Norwich. But this lot over here, the new lads. Never heard of em. It’s going to take weeks just to learn their names” Val “I’ll bear that in mind Sondre”
  5. https://www.uniquesg.com/our-team/ Steve Hitchen in there - ex Rovers Youth team.
  6. This. The one constant has been Suhail. 15 years at the top of the tree, most of which went under the radar somehow. So…. not that the owners ever define their Mission Statement or their Goal for a season… if that was achieving promotion then that would bring accountability. I mean at any other club sitting in the top 6 then losing your manager and failing to reach the play offs (never mind promotion) would be considered a failure, a monumental one at that. "How did it go so wrong?!" the owners would ask after another £20m was allegedly frittered away for a season. "Blooming 'eck Suhail, you keep at it lad, another 15 years and you'll get the hang of this!" they'd chuckle in India. However, the Goal, the Mission for the season is never defined. Ask most supporters come August every year and their expectations are that the club will do all it can to be promoted. What an assumption to make. One that I make myself I hasten to add. I mean if they want any chance of getting their money back the only way to do so is through promotion to the Premier League isn’t it? Everyone knows that don't they? It's obvious isn't it? You wouldn’t know. I don’t feel a burning desire to get there do you? There are plenty of Rudy's out there, we've had a revolving door fitted for them, but Suhail has to go. Why on earth he is still here now is a complete mystery. If you judge him on my goals and what I’d like to see Blackburn Rovers achieve every year for the last 15, he’s a walking failure. A loser. And after this last transfer window I'd suggest he's going to fail again. You’ve really got to wonder what the owners see in him after 15 years.
  7. That was on ITV. They wouldn’t put that on Blues either.
  8. Are we safe yet? I’ve not looked at the table as we’re bloody awful. I presume we’re in the lower half of the table? Get rid. Start again. For God sake, just for once, pay over the top, get a good one in. After all, the definition of insanity.... and no one thinks our owners are insane surely? (£200m up in flames)
  9. I’m good mate. As is the old fella. Thanks for those kind words. Merry Christmas.
  10. I think you should be. We’ve a player there. Sure, the £10m quote might be a little previous, but the guys got something about him. A bit of class.
  11. Fair enough. We shall see my man. I’ll not lie, I had massive doubts about TM. And I still have. BUT... You just never know! He’s a good guy, and sometimes the good guys get what they deserve.
  12. Fascinating. Glad you enjoyed it so much. Any chance you and Chaddy could get a room or a divorce?
  13. That’s got to be one of the biggest pitches in the championship surely? Storm Dan kicking off there.
  14. This. Top notch. MoM tonight imo. A right pain in the arris.
  15. Always liked em. My lads. Up the Rovers!
  16. It’s the future I tell you! Just needs the likes of Klopp and Pep to get on board the bandwagon! Seriously though, it’s the Championship, not the top flight. There are numerous examples of teams going up by being organised, well drilled, working hard, sticking with a plan and with the same players in order to do so. We’ve tried every permutation under the sun, with Dack now out I’d give 442 a go. I seem to remember it being moderately entertaining to boot.
  17. This. Along with 4000’s post. Why buy two strikers for so much money if it was never the intention to play them both, in their normal position at the same time? Why buy so many midfielders when apparently there isn’t one amongst them that can play the Dack role? Fully understand that you go with one up front when Dack is fit, but don’t we “need to have different ways of playing”? Putting Brereton and Gallagher out wide does neither of them any favours - evidently. I’ve said it for months (not on here admittedly!) but no defence would fancy playing against Graham and Gallagher with a team whipping crosses into the box. Or Arma, maybe even Brereton would benefit from playing with a strike partner (why haven’t we even tried this?). We just don’t have that in our locker it would appear. Downing can cross a ball though. Rankin Costello? Chapman? But your limiting your options when there’s only one striker to aim at. I’d go 4-4-2 and to hell with it. Get organised, disciplined, stick to the system and let the other team worry about us for a change. Wide men drop back in when we don’t have the ball and help the full backs / midfield.
  18. Top top fella TM. Time for a change though.
  19. The Illicits were great last week. Fontaines DC. Oh yes.
  20. He's done it since he's been here, it grates. It's an excuse to fail. It's a cop out. Players mindset will be all wrong - "well we're not going to get a bollocking so long as we try - manager did say they're probably better than us after all".
  21. This has to be up there.... I can’t / won’t listen to this again
  22. New Fast Automatic Daffodils - Fishes Eyes
  23. Primal Scream at KGH a week today. Which’ll be nice.
