  1. I just don't see where the goals come from in either formation. We still need a right winger and another striker.
  2. This latest signing seems the best of the four. Hope these aren't at the expense of a right winger/forward and CB.
  3. JRC potentially going is no loss. Now if the Portuguese lad Tavares was his replacement, I wouldn't complain. Replacing actual first teamers, should they leave, requires a much higher quality of incoming though.
  4. No chance they have spent anything near that amount on those 2 players. I'll say £600k for the pair - with some add ons. If they have spent £2.5 million on that dross, , the entire scouting team should be sacked on the spot.
  5. If these lads are squad fillers/ bench players, fair enough. If they are seen as genuine first teamers this season, we are fecked..
  6. The article basically states we are unwilling to meet club's valuations or negotiate upwards from our low ball opinion of a player..which seems to be £1.5 million regardless of the player (pretty sure that was the rumoured amount offered for the Dutch guy who signed for Oxford). Venkys are willing to back with funds (😂)...and we are likely to lose Tyjon yet probably for around or just above the mythical £1.5 million mark 🤔.
  7. Provably because these clubs are offering money while we offer magic beans.
  8. If this window goes as most expect and Rovers don't get off to a flyer this season, the level of discontent will go through the roof - very quickly. There is simply nothing else those running the club can turn to.
  9. It's laughable. Offer a family season ticket or something. Not like they don't have any spare seats.
  10. This transfer window has died on its arse already.
  11. Who do you think is likey to have a better season next year. Fit and young signing DeNeve or Baath?
  12. We are probably angry because a small club like Oxford can show ambition, spend more and most likely pay higher salaries than Rovers . Does that not annoy you a little?
  13. To be honest it probably frees up a place for Tyjon on the bench but he'll no doubt leave as well.
  14. Just waiting for Chaddy to throw in some positives.
  15. The only positive to this window is that Pasha, by default, is now known by the wider base to be the man in control. If this window goes how we expect, (no deals for Trav/Sonny/Britain), cheap European punts, third rate loans, Tyjon leaving and outspent by smaller clubs, then even the most head-in-the-sand fan must see who is responsible.
  16. How do you feel about us not being able to compete financially with Oxford United?
  17. So yesterday's news is the Polish cb seems to think Rovers was a non Starter - as did most of us - and we can add Oxford United to the ever-growing list of clubs we can't compete financially with. Not a sniff of contract renewals. Well done Pasha . I'm not sure I can cope with this exciting summer Rudy! Venkys out.
  18. Sunday and not even Nixon can throw a loose bit of Rovers transfer tittle tattle. Surely we can't be waiting for the loan market already.
  19. Exactly. You either need to be the build of this German forward or a Bellamy to be able to be effective on your own.
  20. All going as predicted so far. Linked to players we can't afford. We laughed at the 90 percent of players signed by pre season -and right we were. Baath/Weinman gone Dolan as good as gone Forshaw back in... quelle surprise. Two cheap Euro signings in. No contract renewals in sight for Travis, Brittain, Tronstadt or Hyam. I'd say its going exactly as most of us envisaged.
  21. Tyler Morton still light weight and shite
