Sounds like a really poor decision from the ref but Gueye on a booking is a recipe for disaster
-
He’s not good enough for the premier league, dodgy keeper even with the odd wonder save Edit - having said that I’ve seen Jason Steele and Walton go on to be premier league keepers so he is good enough - just not that good in my view
-
Hope they do drop off, not a patch on the team they had last time around
-
They will definitely go up, they have the luck sadly
-
The hyperbole around Mobwray is ridiculous, I wanted him gone (a few times) but in no world could you class him as awful or such like especially considering some of the managers we had. At his absolute worst he was steady and lacking in ambition.
-
Funny that Connor Mahoney is one of the senior players to feature for them there. Mad that Barnes is now 23, shame for him as he’s lost years. Mahoney, Barnes and now Duru, can tell there’s a Rovers fan on the scouting team, does he still post here?

Jokes about the big man aside I think tonight is more proof of how Pape is best utilised in these scenarios, defence starts getting tired and here he comes all arms and legs causing chaos
-
For no reason other than I am 5 pints deep in Glasgow and I want to hear his praise I’m tagging @roversfan99 ps can someone please ensure they capture the big man’s post match antics for me
-
Predicted 3-0 - should have backed it
-
It was me - there was never any doubt really was there?
-
Nearly as much as Bangali Fode Koita
-
I love him so much
-
Howard always seems rather familiar….
-
He needs to heed that himself though, recently, maybe against Burnley he was lazily offside when he didn’t need to be before squaring it to Gueye who was in a great position to finish. All he had to do was stay onside at it was a goal
-
Home against a bottom 3 side, in the transfer window, perfect time for Leonard to be starting and to take his chance, Gueye to be introduced from the bench. Main decision for me would be who plays with Tronstad - and it wouldn’t be Buckley if I was picking. 3-0 with goals from Leonard, Cantwell and ACDC Wouldn’t a routine home win be lovely
-
Could be something in Sean Longstaff, Everton linked with him for around £20m I think if we position it right we could go for a double swoop and get Isak at the same time for £1.2m (paid over 17 years), maybe offer them Jack Vale and Garrett on loan in return

Tracking our (outbound) loan players 24/25
Tom replied to BRFC4EVA's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Whoever is handling the outgoing loans doesn’t seem to be doing a very good job securing the right moves, or we’ve just got a bit of a lull in the talent we have in this batch. -
Yes he’d be decent in Italy. Not Serie A, maybe not Serie B but he’d be decent somewhere in Italy
-
I’m old friends with the guy who arranged the sponsorship, big rovers fan that moved out to America a couple of decades ago, he came over with a client (Harold Varner) and they definitely seemed to enjoy their day and didn’t see any complaints made to be fair
-
This presenter is so condescending to Plymouth, making out they are a non league side
-
Home tie vs Wolves That’s winnable with a decent wind
-
Raya not close to any of the penalties there
-
Tamworth robbed of a replay - absolute nonsense
-
Come on be fair, these guys play too many games and they have to keep themselves fresh for the tour of the far east the day after the season finishes

v Middlesbrough (a) - 11/1/2025, FA Cup R3
Tom replied to simongarnerisgod's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
This was the team we faced that day, and we weren’t out of our league, don’t let anyone fool you about our ‘true position’ etc Cech, Essien, Carvalho, Terry, Ashley Cole, Ballack, Makelele (Mikel 81), Lampard, Shevchenko (Kalou 63), Drogba, Joe Cole (Wright-Phillips 97). Subs Not Used: Cudicini, Boulahrouz.
