Get in Dolan, Woodrow with the assist and I was about to moan that he didn’t shoot! -

I went to the tip - sounds like I didn’t miss much -
I don’t see much argument to suggest he’d have been better staying here, maybe you could argue it if he hadn’t been loaned and just played in the reserves but there’s no downsides to his move with plenty of benefits

Hope Woodrow proves me very wrong but he’s looked finished from his appearances so far -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
Tom replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
One difficulty is going from 2 managers that were probably popular overall in the camp to someone who is known to be more authoritarian. He’s said he has firm rules and doesn’t seem to seek to be too friendly with the players. That will always upset the apple cart a bit and some players will have their nose put out. -
A well timed bump to this thread - a no brainer to tie this lad down

It shows how people see an incident in two different ways. Admittedly I wasn’t at the game and only watched on TV but from the angle it showed Forshaw should have had it covered but his chronic lack of pace let their man in and a well positioned Toth made a good save. Not sure fully committing would have been the right decision so he got that one right. He looked like he got caught in two minds in the first half but I didn’t see that incident properly. The two saves he made in the first half you would expect any keeper to.
-
Toth looked more confident today I thought, minor moment but he decisively came for a ball heading around 13-14 yards out, took it well and rolled it out. Refreshing to see a moment of command in our box; 3 reasonable saves as well although 2 you would defo want your keeper to be making.

So even though in every possible way it’s Sonny’s goal will the first officially go down as Cantwell’s? It touched him on the way in which automatically usually gives them the goal but it was off his hand Could be Cantwell’s first in open play for us
-
But our former left wingback dynamo Shart got off the bench and got a goal
-
I think you are right on the first point, could see him going back to the continent for a similar fee we brought him in on as much as I think he has the potential to make it in this league
-
Great save Toth, sub appearances have shown that Forshaw and Woodrow can’t be kept on they offer nothing. Gueye been poor again as well sadly he needs to turn it around again but isn’t looking like doing so
-
It does highlight how frustrating the run was but I’ll take a 4-1 home win anytime!
-
BELTER! Now Sonny has his goal
-
Great goal!
-
Think he’s been fair with bookings he played a really good advantage then booked one, we’re in credit today for decisions
-
Seeing the replay we got the rub of the green with that goal, it’s gone in off Cantwell’s hand that’s raised. Shouldn’t count by the rules but a ref isn’t likely to spot that
-
Get in, Sonny deserves it but it’s Cantwells goal
-
Well that’s annoying 1-1
-
That’s a class goal, brilliant hold up from Dolan and a superb cross and header

If I was you I’d renew personally. My eldest never got the bug despite having a season ticket for years. If he’d have wanted to carry on I would have done. Id go with him and my dad in the family stand, my dad passed a couple of years back and with the eldest not pushing to go it’s just not something I now consider really for myself but we all have our own scenario
-
Yeah not sure how that makes him a Judas

I live on one of the new build estates off Livesey Branch Road, loads of families moving in from other areas and using it as a commuter town. Its a bit old school but targeting with some snail mail would have been an obvious idea

Another evening when he hasn’t made anything above a routine save and cost us another soft goal -

He was one of our better players, had a good game and didn’t shy away from the action. Think he’ll be pleased.
