The kid is super talented and is only 22 years old. I love the intent of a five year deal- would love to see our other youngsters signed up to similar deals.

I also feel that the next transfer window and summer will Show us what Gregg and our new head of recruitment can do. Venkys have clearly backed us this summer with signings and once fit we have a decent squad I feel.

Respect to Venkys for standing firm as always. we are are stronger now for keeping BBD and have until July to find a replacement for him.

In his first two seasons BBD scored a massive 2 goals in 40 games, season after 7 in 40. so we replaced Armstrongs 20 goals with some one with 9 goals in 80 games. Point being that who knows what this kid can produce at this level but he had a really good run in league 1 and was scoring a goal a game after Christmas so maybe decent after all
