  1. Four wins in sixteen, two of which we have David Lowe to thank for ! As Spring approaches, the seasonal death spiral is once again in full bloom.
  2. Just seen Ismael post match interview, he looked absolutely shell shocked.
  3. I said there was just no logic to make an appointment for any term beyond the end of the season. Frankly, I would be staggered if there is no break clause at the end of the season. I think Ismael has been set up to fail by management and is now being failed by the spineless players who have featured in numerous second half of season death spirals !
  4. He’s been absolutely shocking the last 4 matches, not a leader, goes missing.
  5. The death spirals post January are hardly a new thing Jim, not something that Ismael has drummed into this latest set of losers !
  6. I’m honestly not blaming him, it is the club and these spineless players like Pears, Travis, Dolan and Hyam who have capitulation in their DNA.
  7. Cantwell also far too slow and constantly losing possession
  8. The skipper not turning up again, we just don’t have any leaders, always missing when it matters.
  9. And now we see Dolan in offensive position, simple pass outside to overlapping player and screws it up.
  10. If we don’t win tomorrow night, it is season over. Stoke desperate as well but like Swansea and Derby, I expect only one outcome. I just hope and pray that I am wrong on this occasion !
  11. This club, this team, these players never turn up in matches / situations like this one. Eleven straight defeats away from home against promoted teams, I would wager Pompey will make that a perfect twelve in a few weeks, suggests yesterday had very little to do with Valerian Ismael.
  12. I made the point today, for me, I wasn’t unhappy with his appointment, especially given the names linked. I also said before and after the Swansea match, that anyone being appointed should be for the remainder of the season only and if he has been appointed for the stipulated 3 year term without an end of season break, he has been set up to fail and absolute further proof of the cretins running the club ! We have 4,000 season full paying ST holders, if we go on a run that sees us slip in to mid table, who the hell will have any faith in VI and what further damage will that do to ST sales. Our club will die as a result of this.
  13. Enough is enough, I don’t think Pears should ever wear the shirt again .
  14. For all those talking about Travis rallying the troops, third game he hasn’t turned up. He is a key component of the complete failure of this club when the pressure is on .
  15. Three words’ Absolutely fucking spineless’
  16. For me Ohashi has to start and get as close to Gueye as possible. He needs to be alert and sniffing around anything that might break from the Big Man’s presence.
  17. I will be there but expect a typical Rovers result in these type of circumstances. I will be surprised if there is any other result other than a Derby win.
  18. Hopefully it be a better rallying call than that issued at Swansea and before the Norwich match. Travis has been really good this season but he has a history of his form dropping off when most needed and last two matches, he has been really poor. If ever we needed a Captain to step up and pull his team with him, it is this Saturday and then right through to the season’s end.
  19. I agree, we just don’t take care of the ball. Yesterday was bad but the week before at Swansea, was even worse, we just consistently turned the ball over by indecision and poor passing.
  20. Certainly has the potential to be a far better player than Carrick, who was also a great player.
