  1. If we were able to choose who to play away on the last day, Sunderland would be one of my first picks (as opposed to Rotherham!)
  2. Is there any point thinking of potential signings when we don't know what division we'll be in?
  3. Its reactive though not pro-active management. We're in trouble, run out of money so issue new share allocation to cover losses. Rinse and repeat. There's no suggestion of advancing money before we're in trouble so that we can progress up the table and avoid future hand-outs, which in reality are already spent before we get them. Nothing is done to actually improve matters, just to rescue them. The Club never goes anywhere but down.
  4. We are definitely reliant on 1 of three clubs to lose or draw. Not realistically in our hands.
  5. 50 points. Last day of the season. Not been in bottom 3 all season. Away to the Champions. Written in the stars isn't it?
  6. The result against Bristol City will have done for us if we go down. We had a comfortable cushion till that happened. Sqeaky-bum time now. (Apologies Ossy Dave---just seen your post above).
  7. 1-1 is my forecast too and it will be enough I assume.
  8. The simple truth about the coming summer transfer-window is that we need more players of sufficient quality than our owners will allow. All the speculation will carry on as usual but that one truth will prevail. We are in deep shit.
  9. He could have been persuaded tp stay longer maybe, I don't know.
  10. It would depend on how much money he was offered and on the ambition of the owners.
  11. Best we had since Brad. He is heaps better than you suggest.
  12. Kaminski was't a promising youngster though was he? He was the real deal. If he had been kept we wouldn't be fighting relegation now. That's how important that bit of business was. And since we spent "big money" on a replacement---what did we get? At best---one for the future. Well the future is now.
  13. Yes---and I don't understand the "he wanted to go" crap. He was contracted to us and we should have kept him . Not his choice to make. Even if he'd run his contract down, so what? Plenty of others have without the Lunes caring. I said before the season started "this will come back to haunt us" and it has. Started the season with a No1 keeper who is known to be error prone and no decent back-up. This decision alone could cost us our place in he Championship. This is the lowest I've ever felt about Rovers, there seems no hope. Celebrating our 150th in Div 3!
  14. Bit of a difference from the Leeds game! Looked like we had no plan. We'd won at leeds and the job was done. Spineless, tentative, error-strewn and lacking in any confidence from minute one. Hard to imagine a worse display. Just appalled.
  15. Well I wrote we had another blunder waiting and there it is. Why oh way are we being caught like that?
  16. You've said it yourself---2 poor teams so either can win.
  17. Its like local league, the ball's in the air most of the time. Our defending is terrible, feel another blunder is just round the corner, thank God we haven't been under much pressure.
