I trust Mowbray to do those things properly over which he has control. However transfer negotiations, contracts, wages and add-ons (there must be others) do not come within his job description. If a player has international credentials and has the potential to be worth 10 times as much in a few years time I'd expect loads of clubs to be interested. But they're not. Not really. If he has as much potential as TM obviously thinks he has its odd that no-one else has any interest in him. That's all, nothing odd about it. And your second sentence is pathetic.

So no other club is willing to pay for potential except us? That can't be right. More likely they think the fee outweighs the potential.

Luckily for us, no-one else seems to have the slightest interest. Which is a bit of a worry in itself....
