Those lads are taller than the Riverside Stand! Seriously, well done you young blues!
-
Particularly if the owners are snatching the buying club's hand off!
-
Yep! Even if someone offered 10M for Dack, Balaji would shake his head and confirm he was committed to this club!

Serious question Parson----do you think we will be able to hang on to our most talented youth unless TM changes his approach? They won't want to go into their twenties will they, without being given regular games? What's the point of having an academy if its products are able to walk away for peanuts? Fair enough, he can use the reason that its vital we go up this season but suppose , as others have said, next season he says we can't play them because we are in danger of relegation ? We'll lose them won't we? A number of questions for you, please don't say it was ever thus will you??!!!

Bit rude! Anyway I thought all views were welcome!

Posters on this page should be warned that it is dangerously unpatriotic to make "negative" claims about TM!

He got Djouf thrown out of Rovers. I blame Venkys most for not standing by their own player but I suspect they were glad of the excuse. After all they were getting rid of everyone else! Totally cynical of Warnock. Gets results but couldn't ever like him. Would have had him instead of Coyle I admit but would have had the Queen Mother ahead of Coyle.
-
QPR belong in that second group as well. I'm conflicted here!
-
You forgot "will Venkys pay up?"
-
Just as well your advice wasn't taken up then! My bigger point is that anyone could remind us of statements they made that have been shown correct but forget about the ones that were rubbish! (Not that the current one we are discussing is particularly valid!)
-
You also said we should get rid of Graham.
-
Its pointless discussing season tickets till we know what league we are in. That's what the owners will think anyway. Everybody assumes the club will carry on just like this season if we fail to go up. It may not.
-
He's not untried, he was playing well till he got sent off. Yesterday would have suited him. At least should have been on the bench.

Travis?
-
Encouraging. I like long-termism.
-
My ideal starting eleven is one that smashes them and is not tinkered with for the next game.
-
Don't forget Roy Vernon! Played at Gt Harwood alongside Douglas and Clayton.

Some great talent there Den but like alcid says a lot of dross too, carried by the splendid remnants of a potential Championship side. And no depth in the squad either. In those days we has 11 starters and not much else. That's why the best centre-half in Europe was playing up front! Where was Duggie that day? Injured? Or was he already on the way out?

A truly beautiful spot, Ribble Valley with less rain! -
Will benefit Arsenal most!

You can argue he hasn't said enough about Rovers plight under Venkys if you want to. However you can't possibly argue he isn't a Rovers supporter. He has been one , for years, he regularly attends matches. If he isn't one how many Rovers supporters are there? 50? On what criteria? You have got yourself into a stupid position here and you are too stubborn to back down.

Clearly you are right in your final assessment because we concede too many goals. If we are 1-0 up and under pressure could we hold out? Probably not and 3 points will become 1. -

Have only seen the 5 min highlights from Sky, but it is obvious even from that that we are playing a much more pressing and aggressive game. There's 2 or 3 examples of us chasing and harrying opponents and bullying them out of the ball. We were not doing this earlier in the season and I don't know why. However, we now look the goods for this division and that 3rd goal was indeed sublime. -
I think Oystons will show as much care and diligence in the sale of the club as the Walker Trust did.
-
1) Fans were united, inventive and, above all, dogged. You think that didn't help? At all? 2)Sale won't get anywhere near 31 million.
