I agreed with your original post (although I’m not convinced referencing Andrew Tate was necessary) about people being out of line but I think it’s very unfair of you to include Tyrone in this. Put it this way, why is Mrs Merton funny (no context needed) but Tyrone needed to give context? They’re both suggesting (as an attempt at humour ) that someone is with someone else because of their money - neither Mrs Merton, or dare I say, Tyrone, really thinks this. Equally, not finding a joke funny doesn’t automatically = someone’s being (in this case) misogynistic. I imagine you can tell that the rush to ‘label’ things really irritates me. Maybe I’m just getting old… Rant over…
