  1. You’d miss out on any enhanced payments your contract allowed for but you’d be entitled to all statutory payments (both notice and redundancy).
  2. the answers were his opinions, a journalist should provide (or at least seek to find) the facts.
  3. Apparently talent can’t make up for where you were born.
  4. Administrators don’t sack people they make them redundant. An important distinction as it changes what payments they’re entitled to.
  5. I wonder whether Pep has an English gran 🤔😄
  6. The loss limit is lower if they don’t fund us. £13 million with owner funding £5 million without
  7. There seems to be more of them (on signing their contracts) saying they hope to progress to the first team squad this season. I put this down to one of two things… 1. They see the lack of signings as an opportunity to progress. 2. The club is trying to create the narrative that signings aren’t necessary.
  8. Looking at Elliot’s answers to the first three questions: 1. Any precedent that has been set is in relation to ‘meeting contractual obligations’ so even if you believe that line then no, they can’t invest as they please. 2. The whole purpose of the court proceedings was to be allowed to send funds - if this is now a given why are they still returning to court? 3. The earlier judgement made clear the bond condition is to remain until the end of the Directorate of Enforcement investigation - there’s been no suggestion this is coming to an end so I don’t see how 20th August can be important in this regard.
  9. I’d assumed he was trying to persuade you.
  10. Luton Town are possibly the best example of how administration can be a good thing.
  11. I’m not sure logic is the word I’d have used there.
  12. With the squad we currently have or the one you expect by the end of the window?
  13. I don’t do twitter - maybe someone else can ask it.
  14. Maybe one question to him could be has he asked the Indian Authorities to confirm the can fund bit.
  15. Forced to see out their days within the confines of Burnley?
  16. I was surprised that his win percentage was higher than Southgate’s. I guess one thing this shows is the importance of which matches you win over how many you win.
  17. That’s not right. The court cases are a consequence of the DoE case but aren’t part of it. The Venky’s have instigated the proceedings requesting to be allowed to send monies whilst the DoE investigation continues. The Department of Economic Affairs are the respondents and are arguing the Vs shouldn’t be allowed to.
  18. I’m taking that as including a free bar 😄
  19. I thank Southgate for turning us into a team we believe can win a tournament. I hope his successor can turn this into a team that goes on to win one.
  20. I was thinking more of ‘don’t panic!’
  21. I think he’s more likely to quote Lance Corporal Jones
  22. But we won the Battle of Stamford Bridge
  23. It’s one isn’t it - what’s my prize?
