Harsh looking at it from the outside but it was always going to happen sooner rather than later. Once the shine of the new voice new manager bounce had worn off the first bad spell he was always destined to be a goner they've sussed him out. Poor football this season compared to last and absolutely no plan B seems to be the common theme in the comments. Iv'e heard from someone up there that they weren't impressed with some of his desired targets in Jan and he wasn't impressed at being told he'd get what he was given. Sounds plausible seeing as although they are in a death spiral overall they weren't doing that badly. Not going to lie though i have a wry smile after his barbed comments and attitude in his last few seasons here, feck him. He'll still make a decent gaffer for a club who wants to plod but he can't captain no tanker.

As a coach i think he has got the best out of what he has and brought the best out of the youngsters he is developing. Not sure anyone can argue with that and that is why he is here and why they went for someone like him, promotion wasn't even in their thinking (even if it was in his). So in many ways he is doing what it says on the tin and doing just exactly what he was brought here for. Young coach with pedigree and some fresh ideas and brave style more in tune with modern thinking and players. The size and lack of a few more experienced heads in the squad are the major stumbling blocks to success and consistency there are no two ways about it. I personally think there was a lot of naivety that he seems to be ironing out as we go along and for me his in game management still leaves a lot to be desired at times. Other than that though every main problem at Rovers lies with those running and financing the show. JDT not only suffers from the recent stuff in India slashing his budgets but also what went before courtesy of Waggot, Mowbray, Venus and owners not getting some money in or trading as they should have done. If those who remain had the same drive and positive energy as our Head Coach and some of the players we'd be going places. -
We missed him yesterday.

Why not make it a tenner in the BBE and quid a kid then £15 adults in the JW then people have the choice and it will drag in a couple more thousand. A likely sub 1k following of Cambridge fans in the JW lower far end so the downgrader can delight in closing the DE instead. Apply some thinking that is of consideration to home fans and don't pretend those from the south present any problem that needs extra policing.

It's called making a story out of nothing at all which is classic Nixon the inch filler. -

There is definitely enough about Leo to assume he'll develop into a decent keeper and his reflex saves are better than Pears. Other than that though there isn't much between them at this moment in time and both are open to 'could do better' debates. However everyone has to accept this is what is going to happen with development signings. Days of getting an experienced top foreign league keeper for a fee and decent wage are long gone i'm afraid. They don't seem to learn that that is the best way to actually make money to reinvest whilst also improving the team itself, as the TK signing showed. I think also we have to accept the days of steady keepers who do all the basics well week in week out and command their area and defenders are long gone. Look around the Championship there isn't much to desire in keeper terms. -

JDT understands these players so well he knows he can't just throw Harry in and expect results every time but at the same time he needs games to learn. It's a balancing act but if we hadn't signed a crock and instead another match fit forward we've been desperate for for years then it would be easier to blood the likes of Leonard bit by bit. -

Best following over there for a while but i'm sure i paid way over 30 quid a few years ago. Always been robbing gits. -
Harsh on Dolan just when he had found his good form again and silenced the internet critics. Awkward for the team as well seeing as it'll probably mean a change in style not having two busy guys who press. Hopefully JDT reaches into his box of tricks and comes up with something that will suit the potentially good more traditional number 9 we have.

That really is the worst idea of the lot but probably the easiest. The only place it will be of any real success is across the back of the BBE otherwise don't bother. -

This no sales on the day is piss boiling now there's no way it's selling out in either home or away sections so why is it such a thing now. -

It tends to be for a reason other than just shoehorning them in to keep them happy though. -

Not sure i'd rest a player in such form but maybe hope to get a goal or two up and then take him off hoping he hasn't been booked. Also surely Ennis is the man to come in for him if he is rested. -

Score first and get on top of them they get tetchy very quickly over there, no reason we can't replicate the Stoke game if we approach it right. However they are just the kind of side who regularly upset our applecart and i expect we'll concede at least one set piece. Owls 2 Rovers 2 -

Lets apply some critical thinking here. He's a long term signing and he is banging them in a U21 level just as he did at his previous club. However he isn't getting a sniff of first team action here although always being on the bench here. That applies to whatever is happening on the pitch and Leonard is clearly the first choice. You'd also assume at some point Ennis will be in front of him because he is way more likely to score given his pedigree. So the net step is get him out somewhere for a bit more experience of English/British football because he is contributing nothing here and taking up bench/squad/wage space. Then he's back in summer for a full pre season of hopefully working with JDT. -

It's all linked as that's when the usual crowd debates started flying from the Brum side i.e we get more than you so we are bigger etc etc Then they brought 120 fans for a league cup game..... -

That's the point and why they ended up with the 'big club' moniker on here but it seems to have flown over a few heads. -

Telalovic needs a loan and Ennis will never be more than a bit part player anyway going off his recent past at Plymouth. We can only really accommodate one development striker and that has to be Leonard it's pointless having 2 players sat on the bench that never get used. -

Irrelevant as we don't get their home crowds from that size of city. -

Not really considering they are such a 'big club'. -
Only one of them should be on his way and it isn't JDT but i fear maybe Swag will retire anyway at some point so he doesn't give a toss. Even if not he'll just shrug his shoulders and say this coach is too ambitious for us we can't stand in his way. That is what he and his bosses have reduced this to, they should be falling over themselves to back this lad. He is everything the Venkys have wanted since the beginning except of course he isn't a bald chancer affiliated with their 3rd party friends.
