Players contracted to Sheff Weds have been paid allegedly. Who knows if other creditors have been settled though but either way i'd expect him back here before long.

Play like that at Norwich and we'll get a result of some sort. Ponce about at the back though and we won't. -
A 'loan bonus' so in effect they pay them extra to bugger off elsewhere to get games meaning we save next to nothing on the pay roll anyway, or it even costs more. Football eh, what an industry and we are supposed to then feel sorry for some of the little mites !

Desperate stuff and no savings at all considering about a thousand snubbed the game. For me he's bullshitting again he's finally got a reason to do something he'll have been set on doing for a while. It'll not open again for these games now unless there is glamorous or local opposition just wait and see.

The wider fanbase aren't aware or as aware of how the situations really go with Venkys and the finance. It's all 'they 'give' us 20 million a year' sunshine and rainbows and the real blame lies in bad luck and fans not turning up, even though the gates we get are standard for us. Wouldn't be the case if the local media outlets portrayed the warts and all and chased people for answers and truths.

Great business by our overlords yet again, no wonder they wouldn't allow a replacement on loan for him seeing as this looks like an IOU job. Doubt any money changed hands up front either. What a pile of shite.

Yeah bad day all around, wrong tempo, outdone tactically and subs weren't great so everyone culpable today, it happens. We have won games being equally poor this season though and lost several times whilst being miles better. -

I wouldn't say so really as we tend to dig out results when we aren't looking that good and lose games when we dominate possession etc. I think recently we just are what we are, bang average this season. -

You'll only b able to judge that side of a manager when we have a real bad patch and there is a modicum of deep questioning and pressure. Games like today he doesn't really need to protect the players they were poor but we all know it was probably just an off day. Better to just admit so and leave it at that. -

Nonsense it's just a blanket statement that deflects away from questioning the managers tactics/selection/subs etc -

Whilst there is an element of truth to it obviously it is wearing very thin now there's more than enough experience and ability to win matches as they've shown. When we win it's because we are an exciting young side with togetherness and desire but every time we lose we are a young team lacking experience and expected to make mistakes. Standard tag lines he needs to move away from. -

An absolute pounding awaits here if today is anything to go by, games are going to have to be raised 110% -

Tactically very unastute yet again today and the lack of intensity most of the game was abysmal. He then went for the youth and legs of Leonard instead of Ennis i presume, another poor call. A bad day at the office and one to forget, especially the 'young inexperienced side' excuse that will no doubt be trotted out again. We are, can do and must be a lot better than that it's not defeat that hurts so much but the manor of everything today. Positive ? Only one actually officially conceded, the forward line failed.....again. -
It's the concept that is all wrong not the wages, these lot are paying the same as Mcdonalds pro rata i'd assume. The whole franchising things out taking the easy option for a fixed fee and letting them do what they want is where it falls down. Sadly these companies are specialist catering companies fashioned for football stadia etc and it's the modern way. They have a profit margin and set wages across the board and nothing will alter that it's the usual one size fits all approach.

A job is a job and when you are being paid to work you do the best you can when you are young. Some of the comments fuckin ell have you never grafted ? Lets give kids 15 quid an hour to hand over pies and coffee and try and be polite about it, because those receiving it won't be happy at the double prices to pay your wages.

So do i and he obviously knows where the net is a B level. I suspect though that this was a last ditch cheap punt with the loose change left in the budget and nothing else affordable on the horizon with time ticking out. It's a bit odd that anyone would expect much yet seeing as he is just filling a hole left by Vale and probably wouldn't be near first team action if Ennis and Leonard were fit consistently. Of course i'll reserve the right to change that opinion if it comes to light they've spent quite a bit on him without having a look on loan first ! -

A vanity project that just happened to have global exposure for their massive business expansion plans. Brought about by con artists, snakes and serpents fortunate enough to have access to the most gullible pot of gold in football history. Crazy thing is had it worked and had the right people been involved it could have been fantastic for the club but sadly everybody involved were looking at what THEY had to gain, not the club. Walkers and those at the club selling it 100% included in that !
