I think they'd have dropped this club pretty quick if they genuinely thought it was racist or they would've inflicted more damage on it than they did certainly. This Ali fella is just another bad egg who got his foot in the door briefly.

He has form for this down the years any negativity he can chuck at fans he has. Claims his appointment as manager was imminent, i really give up if that was genuinely the case although i very much doubt it. How the hell did our club ever become associated with such no mark clowns as this.

I don't think hes been a poor signing although we don't know the terms. He's just doing what young players do and being inconsistent the issue here lies with those picking the side. He is being afforded the time most others wouldn't and it's wrong. -

Perhaps he just needs a rest and of course being taken out of a team when not hitting the levels you might be capable of is all part of the learning curve for a young player. Said it before and 100% stand by it that if he was ours he'd have been hooked before now and would be rotated like the others. The fact he starts ever single game good or bad pretty much points to something contractual - which isn't some tinfoil debate shutting nonsense but something which is quite standard on some loans. ie guarantee a certain number of games and get a bigger deduction on what you pay. Thing is despite being signed to bridge a gap he could be said to be halting the progress now of some of ours they are gaining nothing sat on the bench fighting over one spot when fit. Besides that is it coincidence that everyone who's lined up next to me him this season has tended to struggle. Or maybe Tomasson isn't the big decision maker he tries to make himself out to be because for most it would've been an easy one to leave Morton out some weeks and try something different. Then again if he did and it worked he'd find it hard to stick him back in therefore upsetting his parent club. -

Therein lies a massive problem. When you have to borrow a china doll midfielder from a huge clubs youth team then build your style around him because he is guaranteed games it's sandcastle foundations to start with. If he is the only thing you can find to base your method of play on you are in the wrong league imo. -
@GavTremendous fight pal there was a couple of rounds in there that were Hagler v Hearns stuff. I love guys like Beterbiev it's right up my street iv'e never been a purist, just a pity he's already getting old. Got to box and move all night to beat him once you start trading he has you where he wants you even if you are getting through yourself. He's like a bigger punching version of Froch. Yarde was in it all the way though and i think he got a bit over confident looking for the stoppage if he'd have kept jabbing and moving he might have seen it through to points. Talk of Smith next for Artur but i'd prefer Smith v Yarde another great domestic match up, Bivol has to be the only one for Beterbiev now. Best fight out there imo and should be easier to make than the farcical Spence v Crawford saga or Fury v Usyk.

Not on here he didn't and in general it got to a point years ago where people tolerated Mowbray rather than actually backed him. My original point being though that JDT is open to the same scrutiny and questioning as Mowbray or any other manager despite some always liking to just blame the players. Or the new one 'we just aren't good enough', good enough for what ? Not good enough to see out a home game v Brum or not get whalloped for 4 at Rotherham ? Bollocks.

The style of play he's coaching and players he is picking were responsible for us giving it away and going a goal behind again and another dire first half. Yes better in the second because they had a go which is the minimum requirement being a goal behind to and bang average side at home. The lack of direction from the sidelines is worse than when Mowbray was here it's no wonder they switched off again, after subs upset the balance. And just as when Mowbray was here the manager shares and shoulders the overall outcome in the eyes of fans.

He'll have known that when he joined though plus the likes of Kompany have got in EU players haven't they ? Again it comes down to money being able to open doors. Anyway the fashionable thing to blame these days is climate change it's the new brexit ! -

My point started off as him being a replacement for Gallagher who often starts on the bench and will on that money. -

Ideal type in many ways as Dack could play off him Danny Graham style again - i know he isn't as good as DG - a proper target man though. If Mowbray had brought him in last season or someone similar as well as Giles and given him something to aim for we'd probably have scraped the play offs. Now though we have the lad from Hudds so i really hope JDT tries to get the best out of him instead of any brain farts of playing him out of position with instructions to pass backwards ! -

Probably because we don't play with a central striker might have something to do with it. Also he's always been more of a squad man one of those you bring on and he can cause problems. Maybe inconsistency of just out of fashion is why he's never been a number one striker but used correctly he's more effective than the likes of Gallagher or some raw kid who's only banged a few in at u23 level. Like i said we won't be paying those wages for that kind of guy, we really should but we won't. -
3,300 into 4,900 doesn't equate to that although i don't doubt they'll open the upper again. Real astute guy is Waggot when it comes to saving the pennies to waste the pounds.

Jao is just the type we need in our squad but no way are these lot paying him 15k a week to start from the bench most weeks. Now if we could sell Gallagher and sign him i'd certainly consider it because there's more goals and assists in him i reckon. -

Just imagine f they'd got a fee for one of two of the 4 that walked/soon to walk for nothing.... All the players fault though obviously. -

Nail firmly on the head there. Pay 5 million for a striker and make him one of the highest paid then try and turn him into a hod carrier in wide positions. Madness for a club like us. -
There's now way this is a big crowd i don't know where that notion pops up. Often we've only had 5 or 6 thousand home fans on these even when league gates were bigger than now. Only reason they are bringing so many is free buses alongside 10 quid tickets. Much ado about nothing.

Maybe Hudds are working on a different style they used to knock it about well but it's not done them any good this season. Besides Dolan doesn't get in our starting line up that often but we know he can produce and it's about time we has a proper winger. -

I actually like the sound of this if he's an actual winger and has 6 goals and 18 assists to his name at Champ level. We create nothing in a lot of games and seem to put more stock in running around off the ball stats than anything with it. Although the reservation is we don't play with wingers so where will he be shoehorned in ?
