  1. And Rothwell the most dangerous one available who might do some damage there ? Yep chucked in as a defensive mid because Mowbray wants to make a point of him learning the defensive side. Just so he can go on a free and do it ( in his best position) for someone else. Everything that is wrong with Mowbrays management, the guy should be running someones U23s really.
  2. Brereton was yelling at the bench all night he certainly didn't look happy.
  3. I did mention the Coventry fans i spoke to recently being of the opinion Mowbray and Waggot sounded exactly the same as they did down there. And that in their opinion that's the way they would have us heading if they executed their plans. NO better evidence to back that up than last night.
  4. They'll be along soon, just after the Loch Ness monster is found.
  5. He'll be saving that bull for the next presser. I couldn't care less if he apologizes or not he'll still do it in a way that absolves himself.
  6. Fulham looked like a well oiled machine in their pre match warm up. Rovers do almost the same thing they did even in Gary Bowyers days which i find a bit odd.
  7. I dread to think what kind of contract he's actually on if they won't pay it up with only about 8 months to run. Not that they even have the desire to but i'm sure he'd accept it now.
  8. We'll get a reaction on Saturday i'm sure teflon will suddenly find his mojo again. Every time his own back is against the wall he rallies his troops enough to save his arse from the crowd. Probably be a good atmosphere and feisty game, a win would be great but it doesn't change a thing overal.
  9. The Vs hierarchy the ones who actually control the purse strings and have to be involved in any major decision just do not care. Their use for the club is moving money, getting rid of profit etc on the books and the small bit of publicity around the world the club gets. That's it the top and bottom of it it's just an accounting tool to them. Some of the others below might be bothered when they take an interest now and again but they are powerless. This has been an issue since day one and will never change and nobody should be surprised to see this coaching set up get new deals all round. Don't rock the boat, get paid. End of story. The most alarming thing is just when you've hit a new low and assume it'll never get any worse........ Well it can with this lot all their money does is form an umbrella over the club it doesn't stop the rain.
  10. There would have been a rush for tickets in Sheffield this morning i reckon had they still been on sale !
  11. A handful that were left at 0-7.... It really shouldn't take that but to be fair any outsiders who likes to call our crowd needs to look at last night. The patience on show by the diehards was unbelievable, sadly it's also very misguided. At 0-3 i thought if the crowd turns our lot will crumble and it could end up embarrassing. Didn't need to worry about that though it happened anyway and Mowbray instead of trying damage limitation you stood with his hands in his pockets. Threw some more kids on and just made it worse. Pillock.
  12. It needs an 18k+ gate to be considered a roaring success but somehow i don't think that is likely.
  13. Jack was allegedly very upset having to pot Woy as he liked the guy. He'd made a big effort to get him there and he'd backed him to the hilt. However according to Roy himself Jack said sorry son but i have to do what i feel is right for the club. That mantra left Ewood permanently about 11 years ago.
  14. In the words of Greta it's never anything other than blah blah blah from our Tony.
  15. If we lost 18 nil he'd neither resign or get sacked. As it is i expect us to dig out a win but a real death spiral is on the cards soon it's obvious it's coming.
  16. Some in the BBE are as embarrassing as the manager, they deserve each other. Trying to get TM blue and white army chants going, ripping the piss out of their own team when getting beat, Then chanting Mowbray time to go at the end ! WFT has happened to our fans ?
  17. Under Vs reign of terror we've broken several of the types of records you don't want to break. I might be wrong but i think biggest winless run, biggest run of defeats, third tier for first time in 40 years and now biggest home defeat. How many of those have been under this guys tenure ?
  18. Most of us could've handled a three or four nil drubbing whether it be with 11 or 10. That though was an abject embarrassment on all fronts it looked like it would be 0-4 by half time with a full side. There are no excuses, non but this is a man who publicly stated more than once last season he was happy losing 0-1 every week, as long as we won the possession stats.
  19. I watched him tonight, he doesn't give a toss his position here built on a raft of excuses is so comfortable. Only thing that gave me a bit of hope was Venus making a beeline to shake his hand the min the whistle went. Feint hope it was a 'the games up for us' type of handshake but nah, hearing what he's said afterwards.... he still doesn't give a toss. The brass neck on him is in Kean territory now beyond doubt. The guys a #### !
  20. Well things can only get better. Do not be fooled by Fulhams quality or Mowbrays usual BS. We started quite lively but couldn't string 2 passes together. Johnson is a liability and Rothwell was exposed as not being a center mid. Somethi g most of us already knew, the pair stank the place out first half. Fulham literally strolled into the box twice and scored twice it was that easy they didn't break sweat. Rovers were dire as a side in terms of being solid and organized, everything you need to be in a game like this. Sending off killed it but i doubt we'd have had anything other than a 0-3 or 4 anyway. What followed was a right clusterfuck. And what did the manager do ? Yes that's right he stood there with his hands in his pockets. Briefly hid on the bench when the 3rd went in but re-emerged when the crowd didn't turn. Then just stood there again hands in pockets not even the usual hands on head or shaking head. The guy is a complete surrender monkey i really don't think either Kean or Coyle would've served that up tonight. Even with that side as good old give the boys mins Tony basically turned it into a complete embarrassment with his subs. Seven, that's right SEVEN NIL at home. What more evidence do some of our deluded Tony tub thumpers need that he's been having you over for 2 years now.
  21. Except we aren't little compared to them they just happen to be in a nice area with plenty tourists. When they are shite their crowds are shite a decade in the middle of the championship being run like us they'd be sub 10k. Blackburn Rovers, Bolton, Boro, Huddersfield, Barnsley etc, all smallish town clubs but all bigger than Foolham. I don't think iv'e ever seen this lot with more than 800 at Ewood, that was an afternoon game when they were topping the lge at the time.
  22. Not familiar with that but i'm sure theres been others in recent times somehow slipped through the medicals !
  23. Dahlin There was another one as well i think but can't remember who at the min.
  24. Hes cost his dad quite a slice of what he pilfered from Rovers paying all those clubs to take on his offspring.
  25. They had people who rolled up their sleeves, sorted problems and got on with it as opposed to hiding in the shadows these days.
