Great moment today when I got a pop up saying Biden had won the election at the exact time Arma scored! -

Hells bells, some folk need to get a grip. The defence have put their bodies on the line tonight and ground out a point against a full strength ‘Boro on a 7 match unbeaten run. Blaming TM for our injuries and illness is pathetic. -
Rovers vs Reading at Virtual Ewood

We lacked any pace whatsoever in defence and midfield last night. If we are to play a high line, at least two defenders need to be rapid. -

We’d have been better with Apples in the nets than Pears by the look of the latter tonight. -

For all the rubbish about Reading being in a false position at the top, they are killing us in midfield and at the back. -
To be honest, it’s very good to see a player who was bereft of confidence start to show what a good player he is. It’s also credit to Mowbray for sticking with him when the player was becoming something of a laughing stock. I for one hope that he continues to progress and prove all the doubters wrong, because in these days of instant gratification when there is little room for patience and a long term view of life, it’s great to see that this is the most productive approach to most things.

We’ve played well, but mistakes at back and up front kill you in pro football. -

Ayala reverts to type, injured half the time. -
I bought a season ticket in the knowledge that I would be getting a minimum of 23 home games and 7 away on iFollow, with the difference between my season ticket price minus £230 (23 games x £10) knocked off the price of next season’s ticket. I also guarantee to have my seat for next season. It will be an unlikely bonus if I get to see any live games at Ewood. Sorry, I don’t feel ripped off or cheated by the Rovers, as I knew full well what I was getting for my money.

Will AC/DC be playing as the teams come out?
-
Very sad news, a gem of a player.
-
Very ‘punny’ Phil.
-
Chappers like Messi there ?

Second goal was terrible by Lenihan
-
Looking at Lenihan and Carter at CH, both are very right footed. Not sure that combo would work long term.

It’s very simple really, we are a better shaped team when Graham plays. You don’t have to be a supreme athlete to play football, vision and being able to play others in are far more important.
-
At least with Graham in the side, the ball won’t keep ping ponging straight back when it’s played forward, and the best we’ve looked up front since the restart was in the last twenty minutes v. Bristol C. when Danny and Arma were playing together up front.
-
Your clips so far have been brilliant, Herbie. Many thanks for putting these glory day videos together, very much appreciated.

If some of the PL clubs want to finish the season just playing for places with no relegation, there is absolutely no point in completing the Championship fixtures. If all leagues are to finish they must do so with promotion and relegation, otherwise it’s a waste of time.

Very skilful player. I was in the crowd wearing a Rovers shirt at Stanford Stadium near San Francisco when Wegerle played for the USA v. Brazil in the last 16 of the 1994 World Cup. It was American Independence Day as well, so a brilliant atmosphere. I was about 20 rows back from the half way line and when the teams were warming up I shouted “Weggers” at the top of my voice and the man looked up and waved and gave thumbs up at the shirt, even though he had left Rovers by then. The fans around me thought it was great, asking if I knew him personally. Like most yanks, they had no idea who anyone on the US team was, they just wanted to see and be seen. They learned all about Blackburn Rovers though! In the game itself, Wegerle came on as sub.

Not sure if this has already been shared, but Rovers.co.uk are showing the full match of Rovers 5 Burnley 0 on YouTube tonight at 7pm. Details on rovers.co.uk.

Definitely a massive lift for the players from Charlie’s return, he must have given the pre-match talk.
