More importantly, did he get injured doing it. -
He wasn't blaming Gally for us being relegated. He was blaming Gally for losing us two points in that game. Quite justifide in my opinion.
-
no they will get hard copy tickets
-
The furore is more to do with the way the change to the system was comunicated to the supporters, and the lack of confidence that poor comunication has instilled, rather than the actual change.
-
Sound familiar.

What you could see is that the trialist was lightweight with no real pace either initially or over a long run. After basic football skills, physical attributes are what are looked at. Those stood out in the forty minutes he played in the eleven man team. He actually looked better at full-back, but not physical enough.

There seems to be a vail of secrecy about the seriousness of Buckleys injury. From the Sheffield reports it sounds like ligament damage, but nobody has made a definative statement. Has anyone else heard anything ?

I received an E-mail from Christina Hayes this morning, in reply to my question about the digital ticketing. The response was well reasoned and acceptable, up to the point were she stated that the Rovers were changing to the digital system, to keep up with the majority of other providers who where also going down the same path( or words to that effect).

He wasn't very good, but his hair stood out.

It all depends on what you want from your central defenders. -

Braveheart. -
Won 1-2, well organised when down to 10 men. In fact we played better with 10.
-
Poor defending at the Wolves free-kick. This half has been unspectacular, but we have been well organised. They will be disappointed if we don't win this.
-
0-2 Gilzeanan.
-
Half-time 0-0 very poor, by both sides. The trialist is a very light-weight, plodder, left winger.
-
OGrady - Maken sent off just before half time (2 yellows).
-
The only standout so far is that our keeper is poor.
-
He has just gone off injured.

The difference being that last season Leonard was not being left out for mid-fielders playing out of position. Last season Leonard was not the best striker at the club. He isn't this year either, but he is getting more game time. Nobody knows what will happen next season. As for your last statement, wasn't that the same type of thought when the Walker trust were running things ? -

I think the conclusion is that the keeper isn't the only one at fault for the first goal. Another pertinant question is, at training do we practice defending corners, or would that interfere with the game of tippy-tappy
