  1. The worste thing for me was, Mowbray came out with the young team for the second half. The players looked like they didn't know what to do. Instead of giving our team some instuction he spent 10 minutes talking to Fyldes staff. He then spent the rest of the second half sat down. I tried my best to give him shit, but it fell on deaf ears. We have got a reasonable squad, but poorly managed.
  2. I have always wondered how much faster the lighter boots actually make a player. When you consider the amount of injuries they seem to cause, is it worthwhile ?
  3. I think that will be true everywhere this season.
  4. No, because people will always want to be behind a goal at a football match
  5. I was trying to show that other parts of the ground have already been closed. For similar reasons, ie, not a large uptake in those areas.
  6. By the same reasoning, if those friends, family, workmates, aren't there, you would have no reason to stay in the Riverside.
  7. You mean like the Blackburn end upper, and the home fans in the Darwen end
  8. From what I have heard the main reason for choosing the Riverside was financial. I personnally I think the uptake of tickets on the Riverside will be very low. That is why I think the Riverside will eventually be closed.
  9. Why would anyone get a season ticket in the Riverside, when it is the same price as other parts of the ground. Also I cannot see us with the numbers attending that will need the Riverside being open. Time will tell whose thoughts are correct.
  10. I would have the starting team, with as many of the season starters that are available. And I would be playing in the formation that we are going to use this season, whatever that may be.
  11. I expect the Riverside to be closed this season.
  12. It would be a good idea to do something for the culture that already supports the club. All they have managed to do so far is devide that support.
  13. And yet you didn't recognise the sarcasm in my reply.
  14. 15% of far too much, is still not enough
  15. Fylde have confirmed that you have to have proof from the NHS of a negative covid test to get on the ground. If you haven't got access to a test kit,The Rovers are doing tests on the Darwen End on Friday 08:00-15:00. The tests have to be carried out no sooner than 48 hours before the gates are open on Saturday (14:00 on Thursday).
  16. It is the first opportunity to give Mowbray some stick for his stupid comments. I am going to try to take it
  17. Wasn't it only a rumour we were after Wyke ?
  18. I presume that you are talking about the covid tests for the Fylde game. If so, you will have to have a negative test. I don't know if Fylde have managed to organise having the test done at the ground. So to be sure of getting in you should bring your own proof of a negative test.
  19. Leeds ask for 7000 tickets for the pre-season friendly. I wonder if Waggot will make it an A+ fixture, just to milk them some more ?
  20. To me it is not a question of, if we can or cannot rely, on some of our youngsters. It is more a fact, that we may well have to rely on some youngsters to cover
  21. Personally I would prefer to see the player on the pitch for another season, than the money be stashed away in some untraceable bank account. If he leaves on a free after the season, at least the paying public would have had something for their money.
