  1. To tell you the truth, I don't give a toss what Bamber Bridge and Preston are doing.
  2. Perhaps Bamber Bridge have the facilities in place to adhere to the Covid restrictions.
  3. AFC Fylde are still uncertain as to what is going to be required for entrance to the ground. They said they will put any updated information on their website. If I haven't heard anything by Thursday I will get in touch with them, and post the outcome here.
  4. I would keep Armstrong for another season. If he leaves for a free after his contract runs out, so be it. At least we only lose 60% of the potential fee
  5. Players in our squad who I think could play as a number 10 (inside forward). Armstrong, Chapman, Rothwell, McBride.
  6. I have just received a call from AFC Fylde they confirm that the game will be on and that spectators will have to show proof of a negative lateral covid test. They are going to try to set up a facility where you can arrive at the ground early and take the test there. This facility is not definitely going to be available They will announce progress on this facility or if the requirements change during the week.
  7. Managers extra tactical work ? From sod all, to next to sod all.
  8. I have just spoken to the ticket office at Fylde, The game will be on, but spectators will have to show proof of a negative covid test. The person I spoke to is going to ask their manager if that is true and exactly what proof is required. When they phone back I will post the outcome.
  9. Does this not contravene Nicola Sturgeons ban on travel between the north west of England, and Scotland ?
  10. The 300 for our game, are just the standing tickets sold. There are also the tickets sold in the seating area. So Fylde may push for an exemption, as they need the money. I just hope AFC Fylde are quicker at giving us the information next week. If it was the Rovers it would not be until friday night before we found out.
  11. Aberdeen is a much nicer place to live and work than Blackpool. Aberdeen are a bigger club than Blackpool. There is probably more to do in the recruitment department at Aberdeen than there is at Blackpool. Probably more money. For a head of recruitment, I don't think what league the club is in makes much difference. These are only opinions, I have no idea of Johnsons reasons for going.
  12. He was played as an inside left ( No 10 ). He showed willing, but got very little service from his team-mates. He took his goal well, but all in all, he wasn't a standout player.
  13. Douglas was a loan, so he had to leave.
  14. Harwood Bellis gone to Belgium
  15. Each to their own, I am just glad Bell has left.
  16. Let's hope he proves it.
  17. Douglas was an upgrade on Bell. Just not a very good one
  18. No dates are guaranteed.
  19. Even at Fleetwood he was never very good at defending
  20. He has to be an upgrade on Bell .
  21. Fylde have announced their pre-season friendly with Barnsley has been called off due to restrictions imposed by the health ministry. They have not made a decission about our game and tickets are still on sale. It looks like anyone going will have to have proof of a negative covid test
  22. That is why judging someone on their past is a bad idea. Thank christ he was only a loan.
  23. Mowbray doesn't know his arse from his elbow
  24. What odds are you giving ?
