People are comparing the attributes of Bell and Douglas, which seem to be speed or crossing the ball. Personally I want my defenders primary asset, to be the ability to defend. Get rid of both. I hope/pray Pickering can defend.

I would describe Nyambe more in terms of a good recoverer of his own mistakes. If he didn't make the mistakes in the first place he would be an excellent defender.

I would just like to see our best players, playing in their best positions, in a working system. The problem is, I don't think Mowbray is of the same opinion.

I didn't realise Annesley is only 15. I did actually play in the same team at 15, with someone who could out-muscle men. He went on to play for the 70s Leeds team, but sadly got injured.

With everyone available I doubt if Annesley would make the U23s never mind the first team.

I don't rate Annesleys chances of making our first team. To me he seems physically weak.

JRC is an attacking right sided player.

I would like to see Pickering partnered with Dolan on the left flank.

Full-backs ideally should be paired with their wingers. Nyambe and JRC are ideal. Both can do their primary tasks, ie. Nyambe defending, JRC attacking. And they are both competent at each others primary tasks.
