  1. How can a defeat be in the long term interest of the club. We need the points to avoid relegation. Bye the way, in my opinion a defeat today will in no way mean an end to Mowbray.
  2. I am not in agreement that Bennet should play. But in that selection at least Bennet would be in his favoured position.
  3. We are more likely to be linked to Torchy the battery boy
  4. I Doubt the cricket will last that long
  5. I should think they will be able to run a bus to pick up all the season ticket holders, if Mowbray stays.
  6. Alan Wright, Ben Arentoft
  7. 5'3" of winning mentality.
  8. Ask them to outline the benefits to the football team, of the development. Not just that it is easier, to have everything under one roof.
  9. It's the same as it's always been. It depends how much respect the kids have for the instructor.
  10. This is where I hope Kaminski adds another string to his bow, by being able to organise and instruct the defenders infront of him. Good keepers can.
  11. I am not saying academy players should be brought in at the expense of players that are performing well. But at the moment the players playing in their present starting positions is not working. Lets change the formation and see what happens. I personally would be looking to a team that could perform for us next season.
  12. As a center forward, Yes. I would move Armstrong wide.
  13. We can always hope Mowbray will be gone by then.
  14. Was that the era of Smash and Grab (Warboys and Bannister) for Bristol ?
  15. That is the norm with a poor squad. In my opinion we have a good squad. What is needed is the squad deployed correctly. An interim manager may ,or may-not be able to succeed with this. I would settle for getting rid of Mowbray and lets see what happens.
  16. All these years and all the women wanted to do was dance ! Who'd have thought it.
  17. Not being funny, but that article says stadiums of less than 40,000 will be allowed 25% of capacity.
  18. If we where to get 15m for Arma, you would have to take off Newcastles percentage.
  19. Also to allow Wembley to stage cup finals and play-offs with 10,000 in attendance. Can you imagine the price of those tickets.
  20. Thanks for the link. I would like to know where the BBC got their 40,000 figure from, I cannot see it on any government sites. The strange thing would be that 11 premier league teams have less than 40,000 capacity
  21. The 68m deal, is not a Done deal, on the table. And personally I think your valuations of Dack and Armstrong are on the high side.
  22. I still cannot find any mention of 40,000 being a limit. perhaps it is just my limited internet skills. Anyway until Mowbray is gone I won't be attending.
  23. What is being said ,is that Ewood qualifies as a "large outdoor seated venue", thus would be allowed 25% of the capacity.
