  1. It is. They will be operating the 'pop up' bars with a selection of beers. The season before last the took £27k in bar sales from the Rovers friendly.
  2. The forecast is a hot, sunny day with temperatures of 25° by kick off. Factor 25 might be the order of the day for Rovers fans on the open end or IMEP Stand. The upside is that Stanley should sell plenty of beer.
  3. Further to my earlier post regarding Rovers Golden 150 I came out of the Rovers shop earlier and noticed a guy filming and asking people for their opinions on the shirt. I told him about what I believe is the unfairness and he quickly distanced himself from it by saying he had only been in the position for a week but had seen the communication yesterday. I quickly explained my issue with it and he agreed completely it was unfair. He took some details and said he would talk to the relevant people (or as my gut tells me person). He was a nice young man, really approachable and my parting shot was for him to get used to decisions that irk loyal supporters. He thought I was joking 😂.
  4. As a clear afterthought they have made the draw available for the purchase of and kit online. It's quite embarrassing really and has some under qualified employees grubby prints all over it.
  5. So Rovers are offering a free draw to supporters who buy a new shirt but only if they are bought online. A few weeks ago every season ticket holder was invited to Ewood for the home team shirt launch to buy them. Several hundred queued and bought them in the night but will now be excluded from this draw because of something Rovers actually initiated and actively encouraged. I have written to Lynsey Talbot about this but I am expecting a reply using names on the database of online orders as the excuse. In my email I have anticipated her answer by asking why this draw wasn't for season ticket holders
  6. It looks like he will get his move - to Wormwood Scrubs FC. 😂
  7. That is optional when you buy the shirt. If it wasn't Rovers know they wouldn't well as many.
  8. Whilst Rovers and Swansea have lost our main derby matches there are some new and intriguing ones. Portsmouth v Southampton, Norwich v Ipswich, Birmingham v West Brom, Coventv Leicester, Sheffield United v Sheffield Wednesday and Rovers v Nobbers. That should keep Sky happy.
  9. And on sale from noon tomorrow in store. You can order online from 4 pm today though.
  10. I don't wish to sound uncaring but how on earth is not releasing a list of televised games showing respect. There was quite rightly lots of respect shown to Diogo Jota and his brother yesterday but this is far too extreme in my view.
  11. There was a company in Waterside who made tiles (I'm sure I read they have recently closed) but they certainly aren't synonymous with Rovers or the town. I think it's about the colour of them - all will be revealed at 9 am. 😂
  12. Our third kit is out and available from tomorrow. From the teaser it looks like it could be dark green.
  13. It will be officially known as Diarrhoea Brown if they use it. 😂
  14. I have posted a picture of it on the Premier League thread. Bollocks to decorum and taste - it's that lot. 😂😂
  15. Tragic news about Diogo Jota. Football is insignificant when we hear news like this. My thoughts are with his friends and family. Rest in Peace.
  16. Burnley's new kit featuring a blue and white halved sponsors logo and blue and white collar and cuffs. The peasants will almost certainly be revolting. 😂😂
  17. To be honest he's not on his own in not understand what point you are trying to make.
  18. They might bump into Andy Crawford on Filey beach. Disclaimer: anyone younger than 50 won't understated it 😂
  19. Batth hardly played for Norwich the season before last. Using your logic we shouldn't have signed him and get he turned out to be our best defender and will be a huge miss next season.
  20. It isn't an exact science but he is not on any of the pictures from yesterday's training. I can just make out a small group in the background of a couple of shots. Purely a guess but if he has missed the bulk of per season so far he could be doing individual sessions to get him up to speed.
  21. It emerged in February that Eustace offered to resign in the premier Summer over the slow transfer activity and the lack of support/ambition the club were showing. I really wonder now if Batth and Weimann were appeasement signings done to placate Eustace to prevent him leaving at a crucial time and that Gestede didn't actually want them so in turn low balled the offer made to them both for another season. Quite often there are clauses in older players contracts such as a number of games which automatically trigger another one. It appears nothing of the kind offered to Batth and Weimann. My theory is supported by the latest 'project' as esposed by the three stooges where Rovers are looking to buy/produce youngsters and increase their value to be sold on.
