A Mowmance perhaps? ?

Derby winning 2-0 at West Bromwich and pressing high so West Bromwich can't launch their passing game from defence. Hopefully Mowbray will have clocked this and plays the same way.

I was told by the Blackburn Police 'Spotter' who was given the information by the bus driver. And to give it credence the Bobby actually stayed in the same hotel as Rovers. Hopefully everyone trusts a Policeman. -

They went down on Monday but the journey took seven hours. A good nights sleep and light training session on Tuesday morning should have prepared them perfectly. I imagine the journey home would have been six hours so I would expect them to be off today. -

After giving probably the most inept performance I have seen from a Championship side this season it was clear that the Swansea manager was going to change things at half time. They allowed us to dominate the ball and stood off us for long periods. That changed with the introduction of their substitutes and the began to dominate midfield and stretch us creating more room for their midfield runners. I thought Mowbray should have addressed this by bringing on Rothwell to play in a central midfield three. I thought the bringing on of Brereton actually weakened us and coincided with Swansea enjoying a spell of dominance. Mowbray made some strange tactical decisions I though last night particularly after getting it spot on against Leeds. Hopefully he can come up with a plan to get a result at west Brom now. For the travelling Rovers fans it was a long day. We decided to come back through Mid Wales to avoid motorway closures and we drove along sheep lines roads and cattle grids on what were A roads. Despite that we were back around 2.40 am which I thought was decent. -

Nearer to five I would have thought. I too am thinking of going down that way but I almost certainly will come back that way to avoid any unannounced night motorway closures. -
Only one statistic counts. We scored 66% of the goals. Statistics are usually used by losing managers trying to justify something or other. In reality they count for nothing.

Rovers v Leeds, Ewood, 12.00 KO, 20th October

The goals aside that incident drew probably the loudest applause of the day. The simple stuff is sometimes the most effective. -
Every walk on today should be contacted by the club next week pushing half season tickets. Strike whilst the iron is hot.

In a tense afternoon at Ewood there was a real moment of light relief when the Leeds substitute Hernadez went down like he had been hit by a Sherman Tank. His rolling around and absurd histrionics made us all laugh and seemed to embarrass sections of the Leeds support. -

Thanks Jack. Getting his fifth today wouldn't have been a disaster for me as he looked like he was running on fumes late in the game. Sitting out Swansea on Tuesday might have been beneficial in the line run. -

I think Corry Evans may have picked up his fifth yellow card today - can anybody confirm this? -

I thought Mowbray got it spot on today with a couple of minor exceptions. We never really let Leeds get their passing game going as we pressed really high. Leeds showed glimpses of their quality as they played some sharp one two's around us and I thought it was a travesty when they equalised so close to half time. At half time I would have taken a draw. Leeds were better in the second half as we sat deeper and Rodwell coming on gave us a player who tackled, intercepted the ball and passed it quite well. Overall I thought the win was deserved with some high level and intense performances all over the pitch. I haven't enjoyed a win like that at Ewood for a long time. Well done to everyone connected with Rovers today particularly Mowbray and his staff. -

Having seen Leeds several times this season Bielsa likes to play a high intensity brand of football with quick, crisp passing and lots of movement. Bielsa likes to get the ball back quickly if they lose possession so we need to keep it for as long as possible to frustrate them. They took Stoke by surprise in the first game of the season and they just couldn't handle the way Leeds played. Mowbray should know exactly what to expect and we really have to match this intensity, pass the ball better than we have done recently but we can't afford passengers today, every player needs to be at it. I would take a draw now if it was offered. -
Was it ever confirmed what the injury was? The injury that kept him out for three games was his calf which are notorious for being difficult to heal the older you get.

Because your sycophantic manner in relation to anything and everything to do with Rovers makes it difficult to debate with you.

I knew I was wasting my time. Your response is entirely predictable.

Is the red button facility available for League One and League Two clubs or just Championship clubs?
-
Pretty much yes. As I was told nobody looked up the UEFA article and it was a shock when there was an announcement that games were being shown live on the first International break this season. Complaints were raised with the EFL who referred them to the summer vote. What I don't know is the number of votes for and against.
-
The clubs voted for this at their AGM in Portugal during the summer. The proposal had a reference to a UEFA article which was referred to by number. This article allows for 3.00 pm games to be televised live during international breaks. The Chief Executive of a club who told me this felt they had been hoodwinked.

Of course there is a point in getting them on sale now. Rovers are exceeding expectations so far this season and anybody who is struggling to think is a Christmas gift might be interested. Also people might want to start saving for them as presents now. And getting them on sale early acts as a reminder. It's called striking whilst the iron is still hot. You don't work in sales or marketing do you?

An FA Cup run would add a few games to that number.

When the PL was created it was known as the FA Premier League. The FA's name was dropped not long after because they had served their usefulness. In every other major footballing country in the world the respective National FA hold the power except England.

I wasn't aware of any changes either made or impending. I concur with your second sentence and would like to see the whole Sky gravy train derailed. When I see average Joe's earnings £100k plus on a weekly basis it makes me puke.
