800 or so Bristol City fans are expected today with NO tickets available on the day again. Who on earth is making these silly decisions - I'd really like to see their justification.

When I have collected tickets from Ewood that I have ordered online for games this season they are already in envelopes. The whole ticket buying system this season has become uncomfortable and I am aware of people just not bothering.

A decent watch with both teams having a go and I thought a draw would have been a fair result. Once again Litherland, Caddick and Powell were the stand out players for me. Try getting in touch with Lindsey Talbot at the club and explain the circumstances ie it's your girlfriends first game, travelled from American etc. There is no guarantee but in the last supporters travelling from other countries have been given VIP treatment.

I was thinking about this during the game last night. For an outfield player being loaned out it should be beneficial from a physical aspect but that wouldn't really apply to a goalkeeper. There is also an element of character building too which is what you allude to. The facilities in non league compared to what they are used to should give them a greater appreciation of the real football world.

I went along to Bamber Bridge last night and saw a really entertaining game. Michalski made some good saves and made good use of the ball when it was at his feet. Having seen him playing for Rovers at various levels he always struck me as a hugely confided player. Last night he was vocal and engaged in 'banter' with the Prescot Cables supporters behind his goal.

A big thing for me about young players is testing them and that only really happens by moving up to the next level. Davies, Litherland, Doherty and Olson are players who play in the same position and are younger. Litherland in particular has impressed me. However Saadi did offer some versatility and was able to move into midfield.

Rovers under 18's played the Dingles today and drew 2-2. A notable name on the Rovers team sheet needs no introduction 😂.

Undoubtedly he was cheap but at 22 I am more concerned that he could have been blocking the progress of a younger player with more potential as there was no possibility he would get near the first team. There are others who fall into this category too a few of whom are already out on loan.

I still find it strange that he was offered a new deal in the first place. Good luck to him.

I really want to hammer this lot showing no mercy. After the 5-0 drubbing there last season it was one of the longest journeys back from an away game in recent memory. I'd pretty much convinced myself we were doomed at that point. The players who played that night should really be looking to put them to the sword in an act of retribution. That should be motivation enough.

The expensive lawyers working for City will be poring over these right now for any more loopholes. I read that the case against City alone will cost the Premier League 'tens of millions'.

A week on and their bitterness knows no end. A quick calculation shows their starting 11 to have cost over £70m. Ours cost less than £3m. Let that sink in.

In their first ever Champions League foray Villa are being ridiculous with their pricing. https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2024/september/04/champions-league-ticket-details/ There has already been a backlash. Hopefully lots of fans will just say enough is enough and Villa play in front of a half empty stadium.

There hasn't been an announcement yet which is par for the course. Last season I think they sold bundles of three for the International Cup games so I would expect something similar again. Hopefully we'll find out today or tomorrow.

Has anybody heard about a BCD game this week or next week? I have been told one has been arranged but not the date. I also heard the players have been given a few days off next week so if that's true the game is likely to be this week.

There is a mention of a slight groin injury which is hampering his general fitness. Hopefully a good rest will help his recovery.
