Don't agree with that stat - Ohashi had a goal bound header blocked and Henriksson had a shot that was going in saved. Also Gudjohnssen completely miscued a great chance in front of goal and put another free header in front of goal out for a throw and Miller put a straightforward header over the bar. We've had much the better of the chances , the obvious worry will be you'd expect Coventry to be much better second half.

Playing quite well overall, the formation seems to suit us. Wharton started shakily but won everything in the air last 5 mins or so when we've finally come under some pressure. The only one who Id single out for criticism would be Gudjohnsen - he looks very half hearted and just hasnt contributed at all.

Id have said Wharton to score should be around 25/1 on its own and Rovers 2/1 to win so should be about 75/1.

Not sure the point you're trying to make here, are you insinuating that we're playing better than our results would suggest? In devil's advocate mode is it not a sign of good management that Derby are grinding out a few more points than maybe their overall play to date has deserved? Similarly I note the xG table has Middlesbrough and Preston 21st and 23rd in the table when in reality they are 2nd and 4th respectively. Like bluebruce I regard xG as a completely useless stat which only provides a bit of comedy value when your team is playing particularly badly. Something your eyes can tell you anyway. The only ones that matter are ACTUAL goals scored. (And conceded).
