  1. That’s their storey but if you believe that ok. I’m afraid I don’t believe anything that is said by the higherarchy anymore. It’s all made to placate the “morons”. That’s how they look at the fans .
  2. It makes me wonder whether we really did make an approach for Ainsworth.
  3. I hope QPR get Nathan Jones.
  4. Sam Cooke - Bring It On Home To Me
  5. If all this moaning about refs continues and young refs at grass roots level continue to get abused, and pack it in as a consequence, then it won’t matter who owns ManU, City or Newcastle. There won’t be any football.
  6. Feigning injury is one of my bugbears, primadonas going down holding their face when they haven’t been touched anywhere near their precious heads. Why don’t we have a rule that if the physio has to come on, then we assume the injury is serious enough to require some proper treatment. Ok the player then must go off the pitch and stay off for a minimum of say 7 minutes. I wouldn’t be surprised if we hardly saw a physio so often in the future.
  7. This sounds very familiar, Valencia maybe but it’s very close to home for many of us. It’s like looking in a mirror. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64545162
  8. I see that the European Super League has raised its head again. That would suit City so that they could hide from sanctions, if any, that may be imposed by the EPL.
  9. Perfectly understood, that’s exactly what I was getting at.
  10. Never understand why they come out to the Z Cars theme, The Bill would be more apt or Dixon of Dock Green.
  11. The sad thing in my opinion is that we once had total integrity as a well run club where no one would have had any problem dealing with us. That has now been shot to pieces with the latest transfer window debacle. The football world or more specifically football in this country will only be too well aware what they now perceive to be a club run by rank amateurs. The CEO, the Secretary and the DOF all need potting, they are not fit for purpose.
  12. Unfortunately I can’t argue with that. Just shows what a dire mess we are in.
  13. For all the angst on here it wasn’t reciprocated in the Blackburn End from what I could see. No banners against the board as we constantly saw at Goodison.
  14. There is no point in playing BBD for the rest of the season. His head is obviously elsewhere so we may as well play with a team without him, it will be good practice for when he isn’t here which on tonight’s effort it would appear he’s already gone.
  15. Well the Chile FA won’t be wasting an air fare sending the manager on a scouting trip again.
  16. I thought it was Sgt. Bilko
  17. Waggott was telling him that he’d sort some players in the February transfer window !
  18. Compared to what, the 60’s 70’s or 80’s ?
  19. Are Villarreal watching?
  20. Re Jesse James........... I mean Marsch. Jumping about on the touchline and talking a good game, doesn't make you a good manager. He was also forever giving out American speak, and I'm sure he would have wanted to change the rules of Association Football if he could have done. He was out of his depth in my opinion.
  21. As all the media wet themselves over Harry Kane beating Greavsie’s record, could he score a goal like this?
  22. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lancashire-64517794 The EFL said, Birmingham City said, Lancashire Constabulary said, but nothing from Blackburn Rovers ?
  23. Has Moyes not been telling them to employ his mate S.Kean? Everton are in a complete mire and deserve all they get. I hope they go down so we can see and hear all the pundits wringing their hands and pleading that they are a big club who don’t deserve the drop. No one in the football world gave two shits about our demise under awful management so I couldn’t give a toss about them.
