  1. Yeah, it was awful. I just answered your question dude. Nothing more. 🤷‍♂️
  2. We had 43% possession in the first half (according to a Rovers account on Twitter)
  3. It's quite an effort to have assembled a team of professional footballers who have such a poor first touch.
  4. Not sure I'd trust Gregg to spend it tbh.
  5. Telalovic should have nicked that at the death.
  6. Goes without saying that a big improvement is needed in the second half. I though we actually started pretty well, getting the ball forward quickly, even taking quick throw ins to keep the momentum going. We got worse as the half went on and looked to starting putting it back together towards the end.
  7. Can't imagine we will change it up too much from Saturday. I'd expect the same lineup, assuming McFadzean is up to another game in quick succession, same goes for Hedges as well.
  8. We've been absolutely woeful with attacking and defending set pieces for the last 5 seasons (at least) Mulgrew for a couple of seasons is about as good as we've been. But generally, free kicks and corners have been dire. So, good to see we will pay some attention to set pieces for a change.
  9. No I agree but we could do nothing and let it get worse or say something to the group that represents the fans and try and get it sorted.
  10. Someone on twitter was asking the club about getting Uncle Jack's Statue/area around it cleaned. I tagged the Supporters Trust and they said they would raise it in the next meeting.
  11. Frees and loans. We all knew the Wharton money would disappear.
  12. Agreed. Just read that interview with Brittain. Certainly seems like the players weren't 100% on board with what JDT wanted them to do.
  13. I've not been Dolans biggest fan but played in the right position he can be useful for us. Same situation with Gallagher though, we need to get rid of players like Markanday, Telalovic (probably) & Vale before we let these 2 go.
  14. What Stoke need is a meeting with 5 senior players, their CEO and a some fans...........
  15. Norwich have taken the lead. We need to see this out.
  16. Norwich and Southampton have come back to draw level with QPR and Hudds. A win here will be massive.
  17. It'll be 3-5-2 With Hyam, McFadz and Chrisene in a back 3. Brittain and Hedges at wing backs. Good to see JRC in the middle of the park.
  18. GB is still alive and kicking:
  19. It's not been mentioned in the preview on the Rovers website that he's unfit. So assume he's fit to play.
  20. I wonder how much, if any, influence Eustace has had in the starting 11, tactics, set up etc. I'm guessing nothing? Just leaving DJ and stig of the dump to sort it all.
  21. Yep, maybe this, so then it didn't suit what we have now. What he was left with after players were downgraded. He didn't adapt the way we play to suit what we had (including injuries). He's trying to get a poor squad playing champagne football. Admirable but it wasn't working this season. As I said before, he's a good coach, he'll do well elsewhere, just right coach at the wrong club.
  22. Not really talking nonsense tbf. Last season, yep it was a good one, no doubts the cup runs were excellent. I also agree that JDT is a good coach, who will likely be successful at another club. Yep, had we backed him in the summer we could have very well built on last season and could have gone on one further and secured a play off place. JDT's style of play doesn't suit what we have now though, it's undeniable. We've conceded the most goals in the league, most from set pieces, we've not won a league game for 2 months and put in some abysmal performances along the way. He's also failed to beat/lost to Sheff Wed, Huddersfield, Rotherham & QPR. It's not his fault, the rug was pulled from under him but he failed to adapt and if he remained in charge for the rest of the season there is a good chance we'd be relegated. Glass half full says we finished 7th last season, excellent season. Glass half empty says we spent more time in the top 6 than anyone other than The Dingles or Sheff Utd and finished outside of it.
