  1. We've been crying out for some pace in this squad, great to see that we've (on paper at least) added that.
  2. Sorba could prove to be a good signing if JDT can get the best out of him but if it's a loan without an option to buy, it's mental that we'd take a relegation threatened championship teams player and put him back in form, then send him back in the summer.
  3. I mean, if they really want to get the fans even more on their backs, getting Allardyce in would do it. They really didn't like him there. Not sure if it was the same hierarchy when he was there before but they've already sacked him once. He obviously loves the challenge of a relegation battle but he might think twice about going back.
  4. This a hunch or based on something you've heard?
  5. In the least surprising news ever, Lampard has been sacked.
  6. Not sure I could handle being called "Frank Lampards Blackburn Rovers" tbh
  7. This is the point that seems to get missed a lot. Not only will they back themselves but the club wanting to sign them in the first place would give them enough initial belief that they would be a success. Better paid and far more likely to have a crack at the prem, it's a no brainer on his part.
  8. If he's any good, he'll play every game for us, regardless of where he plays, our lot are too inconsistent/shite.
  9. Sky just did "guess the chocolate" in a pre match interview with Mogga, as apparently, he loves chocolate! He cheated though, looked straight at the milky way wrapper before doing anything. Sky gave him the box of chocolate though, should have seen his little face, made up he was. Probably forgotten all about the derby game Vs Boro now!
  10. Oh yeah, for sure, he'll be going to Watford, via Udinese.
  11. His teams have always conceded too many goals, always going to be a struggle. Can't imagine he'll get another premier league job anytime soon but there is always someone out there in football that will give him a job if he wants it.
  12. They're in real trouble, again. Luckily for them, there are some poor teams around them. Bin Lampard and get in someone half decent and they'd stay up.
  13. It's gonna be a 90th minute winner for Brizzle as well.
  14. Fucks sake Ayala. Rovers love to implode.
  15. Yup, can't see it ending any other way tbh
  16. No there won't be any repercussions if we put in another no show, as you've said we've had enough no shows already this season. I live in hope that we will see a reaction but it is hope rather than expectation.
  17. Not overly confident about today, especially with Hyam missing. Getting stuffed 4-0 by Rotherham was an unacceptable result, so they absolutely need to grow a pair and put in a performance.
  18. Good free kick from that lad as well tbf. Saw his name mentioned on here quite a lot before he signed for that lot. So just adds to the pain I guess. Came from a goal down to boot. Ah well, back on with the journey I guess.
  19. Oh yeah, I agree, it will take time. But we're still going to complain that 4 players left for nothing 😋
  20. It's all about replacements. You said "can we get over players leaving for free" then cited 2 clubs who have (borderline) infinite resources to replace those players with ones of equal or greater quality. It's not the fact that players throughout the world leave clubs for free, it's that players leave OUR club for free. If our broke ass club continues to let any players with value walk for free, their replacements will be free transfers, loans or league 1 players, who are likely to be worse than those that left. If we were better with our player trading we could sell our valuable players when the time is right and use some of that money to bring in good replacements. Replacements are relevant, it's other clubs that aren't. It's what Rovers do that matters and at the moment we are incredibly poor at gaining any income from players sales.
  21. The comparison between us and those 2 clubs is ridiculous. Both of those clubs can and have gone out and spent astonishing amounts of money on replacements.
  22. Trossard off to Arsenal by the looks, might put an end to them loaning out Undav, in the short term at least.
  23. No I don't rate him either tbh, he's also 36, so would make sense to get someone like Raya in with a view to replacing him.
  24. Would Chelsea be looking to sign him? They've already got Kepa and Mendy, that's like £100m spent on the 2 keepers they already have. Man Utd might be looking more long term for a successor to De Gea but he's only 32. I could see Spurs going for him though to replace Lloris.
